Boots are nice looking but they fit large around the ankle and snug/slightly small around the calf. This shoe also runs large for me. I where a size 6 1/2 in some shoes and 6 in others but with this shoe, it fits like a size 7. I will keep them and wear a thick sock. but the around the ankle it just doesn't fit right and the calf if tight. It's too much of a hassle to return so I will keep them and just add it to my collection of boots. ... show more

I normally wear an 8.5 but these fit more like a 9. When ordering go a 1/2 size smaller as they do run bigger than expected.

    • Didn’t fit the calf even after I measured mine.

I ordered these because I wanted a boot with a small heel and could fit my calves and according to the measurement that was given and measuring mine it would be a great fit. I couldn’t get them zipped past my ankle. Now I have to go out and try boots on which is what I didn’t want to do.

Thick socks and a gel insert. Bought a half size too big, should have bought at least 1/2, if not an entire size.
