I been eyeing these boots for a while and my other boots finally gave out so got these. It’s more plain in person and duller black. It is comfortable but runs about half size too big. Still cute but not what I was expecting but not bad enough for me to return. Def recommend if want something simple more like biker boot not much design or shine. I was in love with these boots and thrilled with them until they completely fell apart 3 months into me wearing/owning them. Style A+, SO cute! Checked every box for me. Once broken in we’re comfortable. True to size. Something that bugged me early on was the x- large seam in the boots where the rubber heel met the sole and attached. I had a feeling this would be an issue, but was hoping that issue would be at least a year down the line not 3 months in! Another issue I discovered was when I went to clean my boots. I spilled coffee, got a few drops on my boots grabbed a damp paper towel to wipe off the coffee so I didn’t have a sticky mess. The paper towel was black! Just by using a damp paper towel with water a layer of shine and color was removed from the top of my boot. There was a clear difference from left boot to right. Obviously the manufacturer of these boots used a cheap dye that wiped away instantly with water. I then had to clean both boots so they matched. Was shocked at how much black colorant/dye came off the boots! They went from a nice rich black color to a DULL dark gray. I loved the boots so much that I decided to buy black polish to spiff them back up and just kept them. Should have returned them, wish I knew they would completely fall apart shortly after that. Entire sole gave way detached from heel. Buckle fell off and broke on left boot, rubber split as I had suspected it would, and the cheap foam liner insoles disintegrated making the boots very uncomfortable. Now for the price I would expect mid quality, I have purchased boots at a much cheaper price and they at least held up for a year and more. Yes the boots are so cute and totally my style, but the quality is POOR and created more of a hassle for me having to buy new insoles, gluing the heel, and weekly polishing to retain any semblance of color. Cannot recommend. I would also like to mention I only wore the boots 2-3 times a week since I wanted them to last longer. The boots had light use, even with light use they fell apart. I’m more than happy to send these boots back to the manufacturer so they can perform quality control on these boots. Did I get a bad batch? Reviews were mixed from what I read. The boots have a very pretty style which grabbed my attention immediately due to my love of boots. The outer layer of the boot feels like the same plastic you may have for a raincoat and it scuffs easily since it arrived with some scuffs. The heel area is loose with your heel easily able to move up and down in the boot, which may lead to uncomfortable rubbing if you don't wear the correct socks. The toe area is narrow and can squeeze just enough to be uncomfortable. There's enough room to wiggle toes, but it doesn't feel wide enough to be comfortable. There's a zipper on the inner sides of the boots, but I found it slightly unnecessary since the heel is loose enough that I could just slide my foot in without having to use the zipper. The shoes are light and the rubber on the bottom is a good quality. I believe I will be returning these since they just weren't a good match. ... show more

I bought these in my usual size 8.5 in the silver distressed metallic. First of all, the style is adorable and the material is fairly nice looking and feeling. The color is not very silvery or metallic much. It is an in between color that morphs depending on the light and what it is worn with. It looks black, then it looks dark gray, then it looks dark brown or bronze. The toe area is slightly distressed and has a pewter tone with faint metallic sheen. From a distance you really can't see that. I think they will go with just about anything--black, dark brown, gray--since the color is so ambiguous. I bought my usual size 8.5 M. At first I thought they might be clunky, stiff, and uncomfortable to wear. I added a little pad for the ball of my foot since it felt pretty roomy inside. That plus an extra pair of socks and they feel pretty good. After I put both boots on and wore them about 10 minutes, I decided that I really liked them! These boots are adorable. I have been looking for a ankle type of boot that goes with my skinny jeans and these are perfect. Slight heel but nothing drastic. Comfortable.
