Impressed with the overall quality of this kit for the money. The puller tool is well made and reliable. As with any of this type of repair, it may take multiple tries to adequately pull a dent - and the size, type, and location of the dent play a big part in that. The glue sticks well to the tabs. I had more of an issue with being too lazy to adequately clean and strip contaminants off the surface of the paint, leading to some areas just not being very workable due to easy release. I.e., how well this tool works depends highly on good prep and understanding how to use it! I can't comment on the glue gun performance, as I already have better ones. Would not have minded saving an extra couple of bucks if the kit were available without that, but otherwise I would buy it again. ... show more

Rated a 4 overall as I’m a bit of a perfectionist and after about 10 rounds, this is the best I could fix this ding on my fridge. To be fair, it had a crease in the middle I wasn’t sure would come out, but I was hopeful. Didn’t quite get there. I could see how the small pick/hammer tools could help touch up, but it definitely takes a more steady, pro hand than me to get this ding out perfectly. So, if you’re wanting to repair dings, and are not a perfectionist, this kit works great. If you want your fridge or car to look perfect or new again, I’d still recommend hiring a pro.     • Incredibly easy for mild to medium dings on the flatter surfaces
I used this kit on two cars and was very happy with the results on both. The kit is incredibly easy to use and comes with more than enough of everything you would need to tackle a huge variety of dents and dings. On a flat surface on my Subaru Crosstrek, it seemed to pop it out immediately, leaving no marks or suspicion that it was once dinged. On more curved surfaces or pieces near a sharp contour line, it took a little more work but still turned out great. I had a ding in between two contour lines on my Audi A5 so it was harder to reach with the tool, but it made it! I spent a bit more time on that one and did 6 different pulls with 3 different bits. Eventually, it was looking almost as good as new. Unfortunately there was only so much I could do, so it's still visible from some angles. This was a particularly tricky spot that I don't see most cars having anyway, so overall, I'm very satisfied. ... show more

Received this paintless dent puller. It appears all necessary tools are included in the kit. Attempted several times to use it to remove the small dent in my hood. Read and reread directions several times. Never got the dent pulled. It could be attributed to the excessive heat in our area but not definitive. The adhesive doesn't seem to hold well enough to pull the dent out. All surfaces were clean at the time. I tried this with an excessive amount of adhesive and with a minimal amount and neither seemed to hold very well. I added to the "dry" time and it still didn't work. As mentioned, ambient temperature has been excessive so waiting for a cooler day to attempt. I was contacted by a cust svc rep that helped to possibly identify my issue. Will make another attempt(s) at removing the dent. ... show more

As others have stated, the kit does not come with a glue gun, glue, or instructions. We have a craft glue gun, but I guess that glue isn't strong enough. I could try glue that says it's stronger, but I have a hard time believing that a glue connection to a piece of cheap plastic could provide enough strength to pull out a tough dent. The tool was fairly easy to use (even though it did not work) and I got the glue off of the car with no problem, so maybe someone else would have better luck. Update: The seller has now contacted me four times asking for this review to be taken down, which is obviously unethical. Amazon relies on reviews to inform the community. My advice to the seller is, if you don't want bad reviews, don't sell useless pieces of junk. This product may still work for some people, which is fine, but repeated hassling of an unsatisfied customer flies in the face of any honest business practice. The response to a bad review should be to learn from it and improve the product, not go into panic mode to try to make it all go away. Imagine if they had put this much effort into providing a good product in the first place! ... show more

    • Best kit to handle you dings and dents
Had a couple of door dings on my vehicle which required some professional work. Had an estimate done by a pro and he said it'll cost me around $450 to get the job done. I couldn't afford it so I started researching PDR techniques on youtube. Based on my research, this tool kit was the most complete one available. It also had the highest review on Amazon. Asides from this kit, I bought a PDR glue gun with glue and tried it on my car. On my first time, by following youtube instructions, a dime size ding took me around 2 hours to minimize it. I wasn't able to complete take it out coz of my lack of experience and knowledge of doing it properly. But on the second ding, it took me about an hour only. I guess practice does make it better. Everything I needed was in this kit and it was comforting to know that they have a variety of pulling tab to match the size and shape of your ding or dent. The puller was easy to use- just don't use it too aggressively for better results. The rubber feet also helped a lot as it protected the paint an kept a good grip/footing on the panel while using the puller. I haven't used the hammer and tap-heads at this time as I still need to get more practice and learning PDR. Overall, this kit is a great value and will help you save money for the long term if you care for your car as much as I do. Highly recommended kit for fixing dings/dents! ... show more
