Using a Sony A7S and a heavy Rokinon 35mm lens, I was able to get very nice shots without worrying about the camera falling or the rig breaking. Piece #3 was not machined correctly. I wasted some time putting it together - and I finally used a drill bit to open the threading; it worked. I called the company to inform them - the next morning, I got a call back, and they overnighted a replacement piece. Great customer service, and they are friendly. You absolutly need one in your kit. And it is very affordable. Add some extra foam because it sizes really big (like pre cut foam from your Pelican cases). Also, use a 17 to 24mm on your camera for the best effect.
