Works as long as you read the manual. The whole thing should be transparent and the it should be made more obvious that to measure the true course you have to align the center hole and the 90 degree marker on the circle with your planned course and then slide it to a degree line on the chart (along the course with the center hole over the course) and read the angle then. ... show more

    • Its a standard, non-rotating plotter
With this non-rotating plotter, I get a different course reading than with my rotating plotter. No instructions came with this one.
