This vanity seat is pretty small, but it wasn't too difficult to assemble. The instructions are similar to the ones you get at IKEA, which are easy to follow. I'd say this took me about 20 minutes to put together. The seat cushion isn't that thick, but it is posh and comfortable enough. It's not designed to be sat on for a long time, which is fine considering hopefully you don't take more than an hour doing makeup. It's sturdy enough and I feel like it won't fall apart when I sit on it. I'm 140lbs. If anything, it makes for a good TV antenna stand. That's currently what I'm using it for

Finally had the time to set this up and I'm very happy with how it turned out in-person. The product arrived well protected in its packaging. Each piece was accurately labeled and the instructions were clear with large photos along with labeled bags with corresponding hardware you're supposed to use. Upon completion, I was taken a back by how much shorter this chair ended up being. It honestly looks like a child's chair, BUT upon it's use actually quite perfect for a seat. I'm 5'4" (162.56cm) and I think with the right table it makes for great seating. On its own, it looks kind of funny being short, but the finish of the wooden pieces and the seat fabric along with it's cushion both simply looks terrific! The added storage makes this seat extra functional, and the soft close hinges is icing on top. There are some minor draw backs, as mentioned, it is a tad short, so if you're a much taller person, say 6' tall or more, you may want to reconsider purchasing this. Beyond the height, I feel like this seat would have benefitted from little plastic feet. This seat works great on carpet, but if your use this on a hard surface floor, it could easily damage the floor and vice versa, so having feet would have been nice to protect one another. Overall, this seat is still a solid choice. It looks great, storage space is a bonus, and the seat is comfortable. Packaging and assembly was excellent. There are some drawbacks, but I do think the positives outweigh the negatives easily, and therefore I'd still give this seat 5 stars considering the price too along with the quality it's able to deliver and highly recommend it.

Im not able to build the 8 drawers. The drawer base does not align with the drawer rail. After spending almost all day trying to figure out a solution I called Amazon and their options were useless. Don’t waste your money

I got this vanity bench to add a little extra storage and seating to my home manicure setup. Assembly was pretty straightforward: the instructions were clear and accurate, and the process of putting it together didn't take significant strength or effort. As long as I inserted the cam bolt screws in straight, everything lined up properly and came together snugly. The only thing that didn't feel really secure was tightening the cam locks. Thankfully, the final assembled product feels sturdy enough that I guess they must have tightened adequately. I like that the hardware didn't strip too easily even using an electric screwdriver to put it together, and I also really appreciate that there were extras of each hardware component. Now, the "bench" itself is much more like a padded footstool. It sits lower and is narrower than I could conveniently use as a bench at my vanity. It's well-made for what it is, but with MDF components, this was never going to be fancy. I'm just glad it sits evenly and feels like it can support my (admittedly petite) weight. I am a little concerned about using this in my bathroom (where my vanity is) as I don't know how well it will hold up to the humidity, so I might have to make it a closet stepstool instead, but I'm reasonably pleased with this. This white padded vanity bench is very nice. First, it matches my new white vanity perfectly! I couldn't be more thrilled, as it looks like they were made to go together. I like the padded seat for the bench, and the fact that you can lift it and store items in the seat area is a definite plus! I did find that it was a bit short, but I got some casters, (and we put a white board across the bottom that was left over from another white shelf project that happened to perfectly match) and then added the 4 nice white casters for some movement and lift. So with that little bit of customization, I now have a bench that rolls around a bit, and also that now has enough height that I can sit at the vanity on my bench and see myself in the mirror to do my makeup and such. I am so glad I got this!
