I received this from Amazon, as a Vine Member. I have no prior camp stove experience, but this looks and performs similarly to ones I have seen in camping and adventure videos. I don't have access to the preferred butane canisters, but instead opted to purchase an adapter for use with the larger 1 pound propane bottles. Getting it to light is...terrifying, lol. At the lowest setting, it might light. Open the valve a bit and the roar of escaping gas reminds you not to be leaning over this thing when it does finally light. Once Liu Kang shoots that fireball, and stays lit, WOW. Lot's of heat. Build quality is good. Everything tucks into the orange bottom shell when stored (without a gas cylinder, or course.) Assembly is simple, and ingenious design features abound, but I assume these features are fairly standard and common today. ... show more
