The sideboard buffet cabinet is beautiful. It's very heavy, and I'm hoping that translates into being a sturdy piece for years to come. It was fairly easy to put together but took me several hours (with interruptions from kiddos). Delivery time was exceptional...it magically appeared on my doorstep within 2 days of ordering. A very nice cabinet - once you figure out the pictorial instructions and assemble it. The instructions are a bit difficult to figure out for the first two pages (see pics), but fairly intuitive once you get past this point. Don't sweat placement of the drawer rails at this point as they can be installed just before attaching the top, and actually easier to figure out where to place the screws. Do pay particular attention to the placement of the 3 small boards that go between the drawers and the top of the cabinet doors. Those 3 boards have the magnets for holding the doors closed and they also have the pivot holes for the doors. There are two number 9s and one number 8, see picture 4 in the photo. You should have the left board, #8, with the magnet on the right and the other two #9 boards with the magnets on the left. I liked the cabinet so much that I purchased a second one! The parts are all manufactured with very high precision and this makes the assembled cabinet appear great! There is no way it can be assembled in 60 mins, however, as claimed on the front page of the instructions. ... show more

It is a fantastic piece! Seems very sturdy, well engineered and functional. I put it together by myself, female age 51. If I can, anyone can- I'm not super handy. Be sure NOT to use an electric screw driver. Too much force will crack the compound wood material. Lay all your pieces out in numerical order and your hardware out in letter order. I finished it in 3 hours, taking a break about midway. I really love the end result! ... show more
