Finally a Cat Tree That Can Handle My Chunky Duo

I don’t have Maine Coons, but I do have a very large, very confident cat and his equally chunky sister — and this cat tree has been amazing for both of them. Most cat towers I’ve bought in the past wobble the second my big guy jumps on them, but this one is actually solid and heavy-duty like it claims. Both of my cats can stretch out comfortably on the big perches, and the hammock is their new favorite nap spot. The condos are roomy enough that they don’t look like stuffed sausages trying to squeeze inside (which is a first). Everything feels well-spaced and not weirdly tiny. Assembly took a little time, but the instructions were clear and all the pieces lined up properly. Once it was built, it felt really stable — no tipping, no scary rocking, even when my bigger cat launches himself onto it like he’s in WWE. The scratching posts are a huge plus too. They actually use them instead of my couch, which feels like a small miracle. Overall, this is one of the few cat trees that genuinely works for bigger cats. If you’ve got large or chunky cats that break normal cat furniture, this one is 100% worth it. My cats approve, and honestly that’s the only review that matters. 😌🐾

Great cat tree

It looks taller in the pic in reference to the pic ceiling. But it is tall, my cats love, love, love it. They lay on the higher portions most of the time. The basket is huge! My cats are each about 17 lbs and they each have plenty of room to lay in the basket. And my one cat loves the bottom cave. The color is fitting to our room and it is sturdy. The material appears good and it was super easy to put together. I definitely recommend!!

Stability and craftmanship

Worth every penny. This is a great tree for bigger cats. Its very sturdy even though we have to anchor it due to the breed of cat we have, the height for our basement is perfect (we have a drop ceiling), excellent quality, and both my cats love it. Stability is great not cheaply made and I love that it has 2 legs to hold the top perch up and no wobbling for all the other levels. Highly recommend.

Nice cat tree

Large, sturdy, and the cats love it. I've had it for a few months now and it's held up great. I have an 18 lb cat and a 14 lb cat and i've had no issues. It was also pretty easy to put together.

Very good cat tree option

Overall, this seems like a pretty nice tree, and my cats took to it immediately. I picked it over other trees because the design was a lot better than most others I've seen at this price point. There's several layers that have a nice flow to them, rather than having everything stacked on top of each other without room for cats to actually traverse from layer to layer. I know that young cats won't mind and can maneuver those kinds of trees pretty easily, but I don't see those kinds of trees lasting well once the cats get into their senior years. It was also important for me that there were multiple caves and beds instead of just flat platforms everywhere, and the guard rails on the higher platforms will be nice for safety especially as my cats age. Also another personal preference, this tree was at the perfect height since it's plenty high but not so high that I would have a lot of trouble getting my cats down if I needed to secure them. It's not a 5/5 tree for me since the base was smaller and pillars were thinner than I expected. I think it seems pretty standard nowadays for trees around this price point, but comparing it next to the tree I got about 10 years ago, the difference is pretty obvious. Also, on the very first night of having it up, my cats already torn off the hanging toy. I'm not going to dock points for that, because my cats are plenty wild for toys and this isn't the first time it's happened. It seems to be sturdy enough, but I can tell it's not as sturdy as my old tree. I'll likely put some weights at the bottom to make it a little more sturdy. If the base and pillars could be a little bigger, this would really be the perfect tree for me.

Well made cat tree

Very sturdy product and was a breeze to assemble. My two cats love all of the levels and the extra space this product provides. I especially like the fact that the cushions detach for washing. Would purchase again in a heartbeat, as the price is excellent for the quality.

Flimsy, low quality, but cats like it. Recommend Chewy's version

This is NOT meant for heaby big cats. It's a big cat tower, but it is incredibly unstable and low quality. Our biggest cat is 20 lbs, when he is in the cat basket it tilts down. It is putting so much strain on the pillars, bolts, and metal ring. It is going to snap one day. The material it is made out of is super low quality. The metal in the basket, the fabric, and the actual "wood" that makes up the whole thing. It is also poorly designed. It ends up taking more space than necessary because it has some parts that stick out for cata to jump on, but those parts are too small for a big cat to jump on and use. Also if they do jump on it, the whole thing tips. It is not universal. It can only be put one way on the wall, and it will not line up with the wall. We bought 2 of these and both the top platforms do not sit straight. They sit at an angle against the wall. We ended up not attaching one to the wall and using a cinder block to keep it from tipping over. I wish I could return them but the effort to take them down and put them back in the box for return would be astronomical. Save yourself the time and energy. I will say, our cats do love the trees. They use it a lot it just will not last and we had to be willing to find alternative ways to make it secure. I would not buy it again. I recommend checking Chewy's XXL Cat Tree, its not that much more expensive but is way more sturdy, can handle a heavy big cat. Our cats love it more, it has a bigger basket, bigger caves, is sturdy, and can fit in so many more places in our home. My review is not posting which makes me think lots of negative reviews of this item are being hidden. DO NOT BUY
