There are so many things to like about this helmet. The adjustable ventilation, quick adjust for tensioning and the magnetic chin strap are fantastic. I fully recommend it.

I've had Giro helmets all my life and absolutely love them. The Giro Range is probably one of the best snowboard/ski helmets on the market. We have been using them for a number of years and have 5 helmets for the whole family in either Range or Stellar. Very high quality and comes with lycra carry bag, stickers and GoPro mount. The only Con I can find with these helmets is with their design. As they have an adaptive moveable hard shell they can feel tight around the ears if you have a set of OT Chips 2.0 in them. Giro have thickened up the earpad neoprene in the latter models from 6mm to 9mm which has helped a lot. Other than that such a fantastic helmet especially when you grab them off season from Amazon at a great price.

Four stars for right now and will update later once I've had it a couple days on the slopes. First impressions are wow, this helmet is well built and very comfortable. They didn't skimp on any of the components when making this helmet. It's easy to use with gloves on and the adjust-ability makes this helmet firm but soft and comfortable on the head. The inner lining is soft and the low profile makes it look great when you're wearing it. It's also nice that it comes with the GoPro mount if you're into that sort of thing. For now, I think this helmet will work out nicely.

I am shocked how narrow this helmet is. Immediately after putting it on I thought I ordered a size too small. Nope. It's just that narrow. And quite light. I've been using a non-MIPS Bern helmet for several years and as much as I've enjoyed it and stickered it, it's being quickly retired. My only gripe is that the ear flaps aren't forgiving enough. Old man ears mixed with some ear flap headphones and you're pinching your ears some. You have to cram the inserts really down and forward otherwise it could be a little tight and compress on your ears.

I really wanted to like this helmet as it had all the features I wanted such as Mips and expandable width. Unfortunately, my head is round and this helmet is rather long from front to back. This means that while the sides of my head fit well, there was too much of a gap at the front between the helmet and the upper part of my forehead. As a result, the helmet could swivel fairly freely from front to back, which is not something you want for safety. Other than that, it's a great helmet if the shape of your head isn't round but more of an oval. This helmet is very light, for sure.

the fit of this helmet is amazing! i love how it fits snuggly to your head and it gives an all around comfort when tightening it. Makes me feel more confident when boarding.
