The fit is fantastic—snug but comfortable, thanks to the adjustable Roc Loc 5 Air system, which allows for precise adjustments. The helmet feels very secure without being too tight, and the ventilation is excellent, keeping my head cool even on long rides. The MIPS technology gives me extra confidence, knowing I have added protection in case of a crash. The extended coverage at the back provides great support, especially for technical trails and downhill sections. Nice helmet that has held up well to two years of use. It has not taken any knocks or drops, so nothing to report there. But the liners, straps, and adjustment mechanism for back all work as good as new. Size is true.

I replaced my 8 year old Giro Hex with this for the added safety of MIPS II built into it. My previous Giro helmet fit great, so I was expecting the same with Giro Montaro, and I was not disappointed. It's a great fit, it's comfortable and the visor is more useful than those on its competitors.
