  • SUPER FIT ENGINEERING. Super Fit Engineering is a proprietary process that guides the fit, design and patterning of every Giro glove for maximum comfort and performance. By carefully tailoring the palm, fingers and padding zones to match the shape and size of the hand, SFE reduces bunching and discomfort while enhancing grip, bar feel and the effectiveness of the padding. And with as many as six sizes available per model, almost any rider can great pair of gloves to match their needs.
  • TECHNOGEL. Technogel is a proprietary polyurethane material originally designed for medical applications. We use Technogel for the padding in our premium gloves because of its superior pressure distribution characteristics. When pressed between the glove and handlebar, Technogel molds itself to the hand by deforming along all three axes. Giro gloves with Technogel provide: Superior pressure distribution. Excellent impact absorption. Long-lasting performance.
  • THREE-PIECE PALM CONSTRUCTION. Our unique 3-piece palm construction tailors the fit of our gloves to reduce bunching and allows your hand to move naturally for enhanced control that doesnt compromise bar feel. By designing each part of the palm to mimic a hands features and articulation, Giro gloves increase grip and provide a superior level of protection for the entire hand.

The Monaco II Gel Glove's 3-piece Pittards vented leather palm and breathable construction is combined with Technogel padding for exceptional pressure distribution, ventilation, and fit. Meanwhile, double-stitched seams provide increased durability for season of hard use and frequent washings.

Just getting these bike gloves broken in. I am used to wearing a size Large Specialized glove and ordered large in these. They are a bit snug and have loosened up some, but not enough. I recommed that you size up. Because they are snug, they are hard to strip off of my sweaty hands. Note that the grip loops are on the outside of the fingers rather than the inside like Specialized gloves have. Gloves looks good overall. Palm gel is a bit chunky but not a real problem otherwise. What is a problem tho is that the leather starts to shrink, seams start to tear, and ultimately the leather gel pad broke after 4 months or use or about 10 washes. Had other Giro gloves that are not leather palmed and have no such issues. ... show more

These gloves are fairly comfortable. I'm usually between a medium and large. The medium size was definitely too small, the large is a snug fit. They fit tight to the skin which is what you want for long rides. i.e. you don't want any movement of the glove across your skin which can cause blisters. I ordered a medium hoping for the best price. Waste of time. I couldn't get them past my first knuckle. The quality looked good so I reordered 2 sizes up, an XL. Still very tight to get on but okay when on and they'll likely stretch. I think they are a good product but Amazon should teach the Chinese how to size things for America.
