Features 5

  • INTEGRATED MIPS BRAIN PROTECTION SYSTEM All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of Giro's Integrated Mips-equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces while enhancing fit and comfort by combining the Mips slip plane with the helmet's adjustable fit system.
  • LIGHTWEIGHT, COOLER COMFORT - This helmet uses a special construction that fuses the tough outer shell directly to the impactabsorbing foam. This design makes it lighter and boosts airflow, keeping you cooler and more comfortable than traditional helmets.
  • ROC LOC SPORT FIT SYSTEM The Roc Loc Sport fit system offers easy one-handed operation with a 7cm adjustment range. Its confident clicking feel and sound lets riders know that the helmet is adjusting to a comfortable fit. With comfort similar Roc Loc 5 and ponytail compatibility, the new Roc Loc Sport fit system brings premium function to sport level helmets.
  • REFLECTIVE DETAILS Reflective Details enhance visibility at nighttime or in low-light conditions when illuminated by a light source, such as headlights, by returning the light back to the source and reaching the driver's eye.

Description

This updated helmet boasts a revised silhouette, redesigned integration of the Mips® Brain Protection System, and improved cooling power. Whether you're headed for off-road adventure or just a relaxing spin, the Fixture™ Mips II offers the right combination of value, performance, and classic design that can't be beat. With a strong and striking style, quick-dry padding, a simple and durable Roc Loc® Sport fit system, and reflective rear decals, every rider demand has been addressed. After all these updates and improvements, you'd be forgiven for thinking we doubled the price of this second-generation Fixture, but the Fixture Mips II retains its position as the value leader.

Great value, highly safety rated
Color: Matte Titanium Size: Universal X-Large (58-65 cm)
Very nice, high quality helmet. It has a high safety rating. The adjustable fit is perfect weather I wear a hat under it or just a dew rag. I also like the colors that are offered

The value for this helmet couldn’t be better. It is lightweight and comfortable. The same helmet sells for much more at my local bike shop.

A MIPS helmet under $100
Color: Matte Black/Grey Size: Universal Adult (54-61 cm)
I tried on several bike helmets and this one was the most comfortable and fit the best. I liked that it wrapped around and slightly under the back of my head and is fully adjustable for tightness by turning the knob on the back of the helmet. With the MIPS design, it should provide better protection than a standard helmet. With the built in visor, this model look more sleek than the typical brain bucket. Less than $100 makes this helmet a good value for your money. ... show more

Great bang for buck but straps could use adjustment
Color: Matte Black/Grey Size: Universal Adult (54-61 cm)
Straps are a bit short, but otherwise amazing fit to the head and seems durable but have yet to fully test it with a fall.

Have a big and tall head? This is your helmet.
Color: Matte Black/Grey Size: Universal X-Large (58-65 cm)
I have a large head. No helmets I've found locally would sit low enough on my head to fully fit correctly. They always sat way too high and looked really dumb on me and made me feel self conscious. Two weeks ago I caught my reflection and was embarrassed I had been wearing a helmet that looked 3 sizes to small and looked like a mushroom on my head. This helmet actually fits correctly just above the ears and only 2 inches above the brow and actually looks nice on me. If you are wondering about helmet depth then I can confirm its much deeper than the average helmet. Im very very happy with this helmet and I feel fully protected and no longer self conscious. The visor is also nice and finally I can take advantage of a visor now that the helmet sits low enough. Dont think twice about it this is your helmet if you have a large head. ... show more

Very good helmet.
Color: Matte Titanium Size: Universal X-Large (58-65 cm)
I haven't slammed my head into any pavement to test its efficacy but it has mips and is very comfortable for my giant head, so it's exactly what I wanted.
