The product itself is fantastic. Once you get it installed it’s works great and you payed $40 instead of $200 for a premium controller by 3rd party designers. Haven’t had any issues so far and been enjoying it. For those scared off by installation: It isn’t just a few quick steps, it is definitely a process. However extreme rate has very easy to follow videos to help you set it up. If you relax and NOT THINK about ruining your controller it’s actually a pretty fun experience. Soldering for the R3 and L3 buttons is unfortunately required but it’s pretty easy. Overall great product, just know you’ll have to put in some time to get it set up!

When I finished adding the paddles at first the controller didn’t turn on so I had to reopen the controller and see what was wrong with it. One of the cables of the paddle was inserted incorrectly but there was no way to notice that but after that issue the paddles started working perfectly. note: this controller is a BDM 020 this info is for this model

The process to set this up will definitely take a bit of time to complete. It may seem challenging at first but it it's not that bad as long as you are cautious with the delicate wires connecting to the motherboards. It's well worth the money as a budget option. I don't like how loud the clicks of the buttons are, but the back buttons are responsive and they work as intended. If you overclock your controller on PC, the back buttons also respond at 1ms respectively.
