LOVE the GIR products! I've ordered the Get It Right kitchen utensils in navy blue & red. Great quality & pricier than many "silicone" utensils I've bought from Amazon. GIR products are QUALITY & I don't regret paying more, especially experiencing poor quality of other similar utensils I've bought & RETURNED to Amazon. I've had to wait on GIR products- a popular item I ordered on 2/25 still isn't here... Amazon's fulfillment has gone dramatically downhill! Shame on them for warehouse packing being so sloppy & careless! They've shipped some items in clear plastic bags, just slapping a label on it. No one should see what anyone is buying. At least use an opaque plastic bag! This set was in a manufacturer's box, but Amazon shipped in a plastic bag, so the box inside was smashed & bent. Not good if you bought to present as a gift. Complaints get you nothing but assurances it won't happen again- but it does!

As we started moving away from plastic utensils for cooking I found GIR products. I will be honest, when they first arrived I almost returned them. They spoonual, flipper and ladle seemed very flimsy but as I started to give them a chance, I realized they're specifically designed that way, and honestly, work better than any other cooking utensil I own. I've had my set for almost a year, and loved them so much I bought this set for my mom (who also threw out all of her other utensils and solely uses these). The slate color is gorgeous on the counter, and it has never had any transfer of color from sauces etc that I noticed in other posts.

Right out of the box, I was smitten with this utensil set. The "Sprinkles" design is absolutely adorable and adds a fun, cheerful vibe to my kitchen. They're definitely the best-looking utensils I've ever owned, and the colors are even better in person. Functionality-wise, they're mostly great. The spoon is a standout! It's surprisingly effective at scraping every last bit of chili (or sauce, or soup, etc.) from the pot, which is a huge plus. No more wasted food clinging to the sides! The other utensils perform as expected, and the non-stick silicone is a dream to clean. My only hesitation, and the reason for docking a star, is the long-term durability. While they feel sturdy enough now, I do wonder how well the silicone will hold up over time, especially with frequent use and washing. Only time will tell if they'll start to show wear and tear or if the color will fade. Overall, I'm really happy with this set. It's stylish, functional, and the spoon is a game-changer for getting every last drop of deliciousness out of the pot. If they prove to be as durable as they are beautiful, I'll gladly bump this up to a 5-star review in the future!

When I learned that black plastic utensils were not safe for cooking, I was happy for the excuse to buy these. They are very durable and wash well. The shape of each utensil is perfect for its individual purpose. I love that I can just leave them in the pan when I’m cooking due to their heat resistance and I don’t need a spoon rest. The don’t scratch pans, and they don’t melt when used with hot pans. I love that they’re not wimpy. They hold up well even when stirring something truly thick or heavy.

These look fantastic on my counter and are made of platinum grade silicone safe to 500F. The spatula gets used everyday for eggs and the ladle weekly for soups and we love both. Some take issue with the hybrid ladle how its softer on one half than the other but I think thats a feature, not a bug. I use it to scoop out stock, cheese curds, etc. and it works great. All pieces still look new and I expect them to last ages.
