The beauty of this tool is that its' smaller size fits the hand and makes maneuvering around your work so easy. I also love that it is cordless and recharges quickly and will last multiple uses per charge. The variable speeds, from 5000 to 18000 rpm makes working various projects or areas of a single project pretty easy. It also has a small LED light for detailed close up work. The entire tool comes as a neatly packed kit in a zippered storage case. You get a variety of attachment tools like various drill bits, a cutting tool, grinders for light metal work and sanding disks for a variety of tasks in plastic storage cases that making locating the tool you need easy. Overall, you can't go wrong with this rotary tool. Its' small size is easy to handle, it accomplishes a lot of different tasks, includes some nice quality attachments, operates for hours per charge and it will fit your budget.

If you’re looking for a reliable cordless rotary tool for light to moderate DIY tasks, this one definitely holds its own. It’s lightweight, easy to handle, and comes with a decent variety of attachments right out of the box. Whether you’re sanding, grinding, or polishing, it gets the job done with minimal fuss. That said, it’s not quite a home run. The power is adequate, but there are moments—especially during tougher jobs—where you wish it had just a bit more oomph. It’ll slow down under pressure, and while it recovers well, that slight lag can be frustrating if you’re in the middle of more demanding work. Battery life is respectable, and recharge time isn’t too long, but again, this is a tool best suited for smaller tasks and lighter materials. For casual crafters or occasional home repairs, it’s a solid pick. But if you’re tackling tougher materials regularly, you might want to consider a beefier option. First off, I do own a Dremel rotary tool, as well as oodles of attachments and bits, even the flex shaft. When it comes to light use: model building, small sanding jobs, even grinding finger nails and claws, the Dremel is overkill. This rotary tool is PERFECT for these every day uses. Plus, it’s cordless and rechargeable! I am an avid gunpla (plastic Gundam model) builder, and use this unit almost daily. Mostly I use it with my Dspiae sanding sponge bits. These work perfect for sanding remnants of runner nubs, and mainly under gate nubs. (I’ve found the lowest RPM setting is perfect for this). I also use it with “diamond” cutting wheels on old runners when making diy customizations. Also, Battery life: I use this almost daily. 3-5 times per week at the least, and still, I only need to charge it every 2-3 months. And sometimes, I do that preemptively just so I don’t have to worry about it dying mid project. So far after almost 2 years, I have no complaints, other than the “Power -“ button cover is wearing off. Completely cosmetic and bound to happen with daily use. One day, I know this will go to the “Toolbox in the Sky”, so when that day does come, I WILL buy this one again!

BEYOND IMPRESSED WITH THE PRODUCT. THE ATTACHMENTS AND EXTRAS ARE ALL GREAT. HOLDS A CHARGE A LONG TIME. PROBABLY USED IT 2 HOURS OVER THE LAST 8 MONTHS. I CHARGED IT YESTERDAY BECAUSE USES SAME CHARGER AS MY ANDROID AND I HAD IT OUT NEXT TO IT. SO HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG A CHARGE LASTS.

This is not a high powered tool for use in construction and home repairs. This is for small arts and crafts projects. I have had it for one day, and I have already customized a Star Trek communicator-keychain by removing the plain sticker array and replacing it with a customized lenticular array. Then I used it to customize some guns and gear for a GI Joe 12 inch action figure that I've made to resemble a character from my Rainbow 6 video game. In the future, I will use it to customize and/or repair several resin statues and figurines that need a little tlc. It came charged. Charging is easy, and it gives a green light when finished. 5 speeds are very useful. Built in light is ok, but not really necessary for me. Has plenty of attachments to suit every job. The round cutting disks are super efficient at making quick work of plastic or soft wood. My only complaint is that the unit does not have an "on-off" safety feature where if you drop it or otherwise lose control of it, (thereby releasing an "on-off" safety switch), the unit would shut down. This tool will just keep spinning until the 5 speed button is pressed repeatedly to the off position. This can be particularly dangerous if one is using the round cutting disk. So be warned. Other than that, the unit works great, and I am very happy with it. It comes with a nice case and the attachments are all boxed in 2 plastic holding containers inside the case. Everything fits neatly inside for storage. Overall, highly recommend, regardless of that one safety caveat.

I've used lower speeds for delicate wood engraving and higher settings for light metal work. The LED light is particularly helpful when working in poorly lit areas.
