For the price, I was afraid these collars would be of cheap quality. Boy, was I wrong! Heavy duty webbing and a substantial buckle make this an excellent value for a high quality product. Even the bells were nice. They have been in daily use for 5 months with no issues. Very, very pleased!

When there's tugging, the plastic clip will unlock or breakaway from itself. Gonna go back to collars that have metal clasp.

We have a number of goats that we've experimented with collars for. On first glance, we loved these. They were easy to put on, attractive, and nicely reflective in a flashlight at night. But we've had several of them now just literally "fall off" the goats. Maybe they learned how to work the clasp ;) - but I think they plastic clips just tend to catch and then fall off. We find the collar (eventually) and they usually can be re-used. (The plastic snap didn't break.) But the bigger issue is that on smaller goats, they don't maintain size, and tend to loosen to "full extension" over a week or two, whereupon the goats have learned to just 'shrug them off' if they feel like it. I'll need to find collars that don't slip so easily for the smaller necks.

Using these on goats that forage the entire day and return in the evening. Most have lost the bells. All have faded to nearly grey.

Love the colors, reflectivity, belld, and sizing for both dwarf and full sized goats. Too small for my Nubian buck, though. Problem is that they gradually slip open and then they're dangling very loose on the goats. One goat then got caught on something. Need to sew them to make sure they stay the same size that I set them to.
