I finally got a chance to give this a whirl. As a non-techie guy, I will need a little practice with it, but the stabilization thing is pretty cool. The directions are a little light, but give the basics. Getting the phone in the cradle is a bit tough. The grips have a pretty stout spring on them and no real good way to grip them, hold open and still have hands enough to put the phone in the cradle. Then you have to balance the phone before engaging the gyro. Some sort of mechanism to do open the grip arms with one hand would make that all a lot easier. Then you have to make sure you have it in right side up, lol. Again it will take a little practice. Bluetooth connection was easy and the photo button worked just fine. It's a nifty all around piece of kit. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and the arm fully extended seems to be strong enough for it. Being a wide phone , its a little tippy side to side horizontally, and the tripod handle rolls a bit in your hand but not bad.

This stabilizer is fine for some basic video work with my phone. As a single axis stabilizer, the left to right stabilization is fine but any up and down movement is manual. The device is fairly sturdy and the fold out tripod is easy to use when this is needed. While I have a multi-axis gimbal stabilizer that I will probably use for most instances, this is a simple and small tool that I may use as a backup.

Tried out this stick. It worked pretty well and has some cool features. When the gimbal is powered up it does a very good job of keeping your phone either vertical or horizontal. The stick also has a tripod feature which is a nice. bonus. The only directions come on the box and are not super detailed so I needed to fend for myself a bit. With the iPhone's internal camera, image stabilization was really smooth- helped video while moving look a lot more professional, for sure.

The gimbal selfie stick that I received is as described. There are positive aspects which include the gambal stabilizer feature; this is a powered motorized feature that will keep you phone either horizontal or vertical, depending on the setting, and regardless of how you rotate or move the selfie stick. I was very impressed with the stabilizer feature. The negative is the lack of meaningful documentation; the documentation doesn't explain all the capabilities or how to use each feature or capability. The documentation mentioned 'inception mode' and I have no idea what that mode is or is supposed to do. It took me a bit to realize that the 'remote control' that was mentioned was actually the button on the handle, and that that button can be removed; the remote connects via bluetooth to the phone and will trigger the shutter control, when pressed, to take a picture. I think I have most of the operations figured out, but a good and clear manual would have helped.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with this one, tho I have to say I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular. I don’t use selfie sticks but we have been wanting something with a gimbal on it tho we didn’t want to spend a lot to get one. This one is actually quite a surprise. Charging took a bit of time for the stick itself, the remote charged up in no time. If you want a fast charging option, this isn’t the one for you. Now, the gimbal actually works really well. Add to that the anti-shake on most smart phones now and you have a great recipe for successful photos. The phone stays upright really well with the gimbal. There is a small bit of adjustment every once in a while when movement is stopped, so that can lend to some camera sway on your videos. The remote work well. There is a sync maneuver that the sticker on the stick says to perform, tho the sequence of buttons on the diagram don’t match the description in the wording, follow the wording and not the diagram. Bluetooth link was easy on the iPhone 12 Pro, this allows the remote to activate the shutter on your camera phone. The phone clamp works well, nice and tight. It works with our phones that have the Otter Box Symmetry as well another that has the Coummuter. It wont’ hold the Otterbox Defender tho. This is really a nice stick with the gimbal. Very happy with it.
