This antenna looks fantastic on the Wrangler, however the FM radio reception isn't quite as good as with the factory antenna. If you mostly use satellite radio this will have no impact. I have the same exact antenna on two of my other cars (ordered a few years ago) and they work great. For some reason this one doesn't seem quite as good, but I'm certain it's just about the best reception quality you will find in any antenna this short anywhere near the price. Installed easily on my JK. I'm in a large metro area so I didn't notice any substantial decrease in the majority of my favorite FM stations until I drove into an above ground parking garage. The music was then very choppy/staticky. Not a deal breaker since I'm now at my destination and it's much better in appearance than the OEM antenna which was slightly bent from the carwash. Also, taller buildings, like 4-5 stories or more, will often decrease the signals even at very large 8 lane intersections with the building on one corner set back from the street at least 40 feet. I'll be putting some thread lock on it to deter theft, but wish it had a way to snug it up with some pliers without damaging the foam rubber cover. If you like listening to the radio, I'd probably recommend going with a longer one than the 6 inch. ... show more
