This is nice building toy for kids . It’s perfect for 8-10 year old kids . It’s moderately difficult to build this robot . It comes with steps which are well explained to build this . Kids enjoy hours building this and play with using remote control .

Bought this for my nephew for his birthday. He's been begging for a Lego robot since his birthday in January, but I was hesitant because all of our past robots/remote control toys were of poor quality and only lasted a day or two. It is definitely a great choice for kids ages 8 to 14, it offers some challenges but is not frustrating either which makes it fun to assemble. Easy to read instructions and kids will love it. My son loved this and I wish I'd waited for Christmas to give it to him. He made the mistake of taking a break and leaving everything out on the floor and his brother walked into it without paying attention. It was drama getting everything back in order. I'd advise taking pics of the work progress and have some kind of system for your child, even if they don't need help. Just some method of organization in case something like that happens. It can be trays, ziplocs, bowls, whatever. This set comes with a lot and if it gets sent flying, chaos will ensue. It looks really awesome when finished. I haven't seen it in action yet, but I'm told it's really cool. My som has wanted to build a robot since he was 2. I remember when he was 4, he sat in the backseat with a really serious expression while I was driving and asked me at what age he could drive. I said 16 is when he could learn. And he put his hand to his head and in a seriously frustrated little voice said, "I only have twelve years to build my robot car." I was so stunned that he did the math so fast that it took me a minute to realize what he was stressing over lol. So now 6 years later he gets to build a robot, leaving him 6 more years for the robot car lol. 11 year old son loves this. So far he's only made the car and is still using it, but he wants to male the robot next. Good quality toy, pretty easy to assemble and figure out, but the directions could be a little clearer.

I had a lot of fun putting this together with my nephews. They are 7 and 11; and both really enjoyed it. We honestly were not paying attention to how long it took. They had fun making it into different things. It is a great STEM.
