I wanted a small anchor I could easily use for my inflatable stand up paddle board. This anchor is perfect! I’ve used this to anchor my board and my friend’s board at once while we anchor in a good spot for swimming. We no longer have to tie off to a cypress tree and then walk in mucky water filled with sticks to get out into deeper water. We can just anchor right there! For reference I’m only using this in various Florida Springs so I haven’t tried it in wavy, windy conditions. The only issue I’ve noticed is my own fault. The bag is waterproof, so if you put the anchor back inside the bag and then forget about taking it out to dry, it will start to rust a bit.

Like some reviews, change the placement of the knot to the bottom of the anchor, zip tie the rope to the top of the anchor, in case you get caught on a rock you can snap the tie and free the anchor by pulling from the back. Aside from that it is a perfect product. Testing the limits with three paddle boarders and a kayaker, no issues with slow current.

Great anchor for kayak or SUP. included rope is high quality and the bag serves it's purpose. The only thing I recommend for anyone reading this is add a 1/4 inch marine grade stainless steel D shackle and a small zip tie, in order to rig it properly. See my picture for a proper setup. If it gets stuck you want to be able to pull the rope hard and break the zip tie, and have the rope pull the anchor out instead of setting itself deeper.

The anchor itself is awesome. Rope is awesome. Buoy so far is awesome even though it's foam - we'll see how it holds up. The bag it came with is crap, lol. The anchor tore through the bottom seam just by my keeping it in the car. I'll get a different bag for it, maybe mesh. But yeah, docking a star just for that. Aside from that, well made anchor.

Great anchor and very portable. Used some info i found in a review for tying the rope so that if it get stuff in the weeds it can be pulled out. So far i have had no problem with the anchor not being secure or getting it out of the weeds. Love it.
