I installed this on an outside 120V light fixture and it works well. The light stays off during the day and only turns on at night when it detects movement (from heat-emitting bodies, such as people). Seems to me that this should eliminate triggering the light from things like blowing leaves, unlike the radio frequency sensors. Note that it needs direct-line-of-sight to work. Tried to use it in a bathroom, but it turns off too fast, even while there is still motion in the room. Seems it does not re-trigger on continued motion. No time to wash your hands, or even finish your business, you'll be in the dark! Wave your hands, and a few seconds later it comes back on. Not good for any indoor use I can think of. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The sensor works. Won't deny that. But I'm going to have to get a different one that will allow it to function with daylight coming in. This one MUST be shaded or in a dark setting to function. I docked a star because I saw no mention of this in the ad. Installation was easy enough. The included wiring is TINY though, you definitely don't want much of a load on it at all. So much so that I went with a Solid State Relay being activated by this switch to kick on the fridge lighting even though it's only pulling a measured 37 watts. All in all not a bad piece. Easy enough to install but did not come with instructions. Got it to work, it has to be completely dark for it to work. But it turns off after a minute. Takes a while for it to register movement. I set this up in my garage and I have other motion lights that work and they seem to turn on before this one sensor picks it up and therefore lights' dont turn on. ... show more

I thought I was getting 2 sensors from the picture, but after reading the description you only get one. There are other contents about the picture of 2 And only getting 1 in the reviews. I only needed one so it wasn't a big deal.

the only wiring diagram is a pic on the page that distorts to being unreadable when enlarged. I found a wiring diagram elsewhere and this detects ZERO motion when there is even the tiniest amount of ambient light
