  • Great Board. Highly Recommend.
Style: Z890|AE|M.2 x4|WIFI7 Size: ATX
I am a first time PC builder and don't have any issues with this motherboard. The build quality is extremely sturdy and has great connectivity options for future expansion. The E-Z latch mechanisms make SSD and GPU installations easy. I bought this motherboard specifically for gaming capabilities which well with my Gigabyte 5070ti. The motherboard handles various tasks including gaming, fantastically. A manual that tells you everything about the board does not come inside the box. You must go to Gigabyte's website to find it. There were times during the build where a physical copy would've been helpful considering that I'm building a computer for the first time. It does come with a pictographic guide that helps you connect things together. This Z890 motherboard fits in my pc case perfectly and allows for enough room for optional PCIE expansion in the future. The Aorus Elite Wifi 7 is not a power-hungry motherboard. I bought a corsair rm1000x psu for my build and everything runs smoothly. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and will potentially buy more gigabyte boards for future builds. ... show more

  • Nice upgrade with a great board
Style: Z890|AE|M.2 x4|WIFI7 Size: ATX
Absolutely fantastic motherboard. Easy to quick tweak settings in BIOS or go all out with access to complete voltages and timings. I am all about performance and this board has it. Im using a Ultra 265k and one bench is using a 5070 card and the other 2 are using a 5070TI for reference. Great quality board and another great board from Gigabyte. To be fair, I am a Gigabyte only person anymore. Easy to set up and configure. I will say that I did not see any performance decrease when using the GPU in gen5x16 with a Gen5 NVME. The newer Ultra chips have more PCI lanes so you dont have to worry about any performance caps when using both. This is a solid board with great performance, lots of fan headers and ARGB connectors as well as a built in Thunderbolt 4 which can also provide a 20Gb network connection. Everything is solid and works great. ... show more

  • This is a very good board at a reasonable price for the serious computer users.
Style: Z890|AE|M.2 x4|WIFI7 Size: ATX
This is my second Aorus board that I have purchased. My first board was a Aorus Z390 Master which I probably would have kept but I could not get Windows 11 to load, because I wanted the security updates. These are great motherboards that are pretty easy to set up. I only wish that they would have included a manual like the previous version. There are things in the manual that are needed to set up the device. Even with the lack of a hard copy manual I would recommend this motherboard.. These boards are made very well and are very sturdy, well cooled and easy to upgrade with memory and drives. ... show more

  • Should have been the first choice...
Style: Z890|AE|M.2 x4|WIFI7 Size: ATX
Feels solid, much heavier than my previous budget board. Got this to replace another Gigabyte I bricked trying to enable secure boot. This motherboard has Q-Flash+ which allows recovery of BIOS in case of failure. My performance very slightly increased over the budget board I had before. This is a solid board with great features, including 4x m.2 slots and Wifi-7. ... show more

  • BUYER BEWARE
Style: Z890|AE|M.2 x4|WIFI7 Size: ATX
Pretty disappointed in this motherboard. It has been nothing but problems since I bought it. - I was not being prompted to enter BIOS at ALL (updating bios fixed this) - keyboard/mouse do not work to enter bios, while in bios, and in the system recover page. Apparently only 2 usb ports work for usb devices in bios. - no option in bios to enable legacy usb devices (your stuck with only 2 ports that work). This did not fix the system recover page. - no option in bios to disable/enable CSM support - the startup logo looks sketchy and not like other gigabyte aorus logos I have seen (there is an underscore randomly above the logo that isn’t part of the design) - m.2 slot is UNDER the graphics card… this is a horrible design. - no usb3.0/3.2 connector on the motherboard to enable case usb ports - I have a 5070 ti installed. The release latch for the graphics card is completed under the graphics card itself. I have to wedge a screwdriver to unlock the graphics card from the slot. ... show more

  • Excellent Board, Great Value
Style: Z890|AE|M.2 x4|WIFI7 Size: ATX
This board is the heart of my new PC, and it's been flawless. It provides rock-solid power for my Ultra 7 265k CPU, and my system is incredibly responsive. The PCIe 5.0 M.2 slot gives me lightning-fast storage, and the WiFi 7 is a massive speed upgrade. A great number of USB ports. Highly recommend.

  • So far go good, nice features.
Style: Z890|AE|M.2 x4|WIFI7 Size: ATX
So far so good, blistering fast, almost too fast for basic functions like web browsing; I'll get used to it. GB Z890 AE Wifi 7 MB, Ultra i9 285K, DDR5-64GB 6400 MHz (4800MT/s), PCIE 5 M.2 SSD 1T, Intel Graphics (for now), direct CPU access to SSD bypassing the chipset. Installation and set up was nothing abnormal, typical driver type obstacles during Win 11 installation but I've encountered much more problematic builds/start-ups. Wifi was not recognized, had to plug in an older alternative Wifi USB with preloaded Win 11 driver to establish a Wifi connection to download drivers for the WiFi 7. Another option would be hardwire EN. Not all drivers are available in the OS install package, common problem with newly released components. Tried using the AI DDR analysis/boost function to boost/max out DDR performance, stopped booting on first attempt. Was 100% my fault, there's more to the numbers, memory clock speed AND latency must match, lesson learned. Again, no big deal, simple CMOS reset (super easy, see manual) to factory and I was up and running in about 5-10 minutes. I like the MB, arrived new in the box with factory seal, would recommend. Have built several PCs over the years using GB MBs, not due to brand loyalty but that's how things worked out. Never an issue, many GB MBs are still in use well over a decade later. ... show more
