  • It just works!
Tried to go with the other brand which was much cheaper and faster but even after decades, they still have driver issues. Now Nvidia pricing these things like they are gold two years after release still urks me but at least you know that unless you get a defective card, you plug it in and it just works. No issues and while a little more noisy when gaming due to the increased fan speed, it's the same for all GPU's. After extensive testing this thing is a tad bit faster than a 2080 Super that cost twice as much. My only issue is the price but at least they are down to about MSRP now that the mining craze seems to be over at least in regard to GPU's. But perform it does and without any hassles. Takes very little power and is a well made product. ... show more

  • Awesome
play any & all games at 3440 x 1440, ultra settings and still enjoy 60+ FPS... and ray trace of course!. Gotta love it! a little about this system, upgraded it about a year ago when the prices of graphics cards were way overinflated so it was all upgraded, except the graphics card, which was still a gtx 750ti. not a bad card by any means, still able to play quite a few games but when it comes to the later games. forget it. no ray tracing either. this card finally found a decent spot when it comes to price / performance and perform it does, well within expectations. the card *does* idle at around 50c when not doing anything special, but on the up side, that is with all the fans turned *off*. when playing games it typically hits around 70C to 80C which is well within spec, but given the size of the cooler block that's on there, i imagine that during the summer time, it will add quite a bit of heat to your room, but then i doubt it would be any different for any other card that can do what this card can do. Loving my new setup :) ... show more

  • Best Bang For The Buck When Refreshing An Old Gaming System!
I placed this in an older system and boy did it perk it up for gaming! This replaced a GTX -1060 on a 9 year old ASUS Z97-AR motherboard pushing an Intel i5-4670k processor with 16gb of DDR3 1866MHz memory. The 3dMark score was 3774. The new RTX 3060 Ti brought that score to 8376! I then upgraded the i5-4670k (4-cores) to the i7-4790k(6-cores) for $100. That brought the 3dMark score to 9168! Next week I upgrade the 1866MHz memory to 2400MHz memory for $60 and this 9 year old system will be just about fully maxed out. The total cost of this $600 upgrade should get me another 5 years of gaming. I am currently playing God of War, Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 3, Death Stranding, Doom Eternal, Prey, Metro Exodus Enhanced, Control Ultimate, Crysis Remastered, and Forza Horizon 5 all at Very High-to-Ultimate ingame graphics settings while pushing a 50" 4k monitor. Framerates are averaging 50fps-60fps on those over-eager graphics settings. ... show more

  • Ok for its size
It was bought for a mini itx build. It works well for medium settings of challenging games. But not more

  • Perfect with equally good parts.
I’ve tested this gpu (and my pc overall) by running demanding games like Escape from Tarkov, Call of duty: Warzone, Battlefied V, and Elden Ring on max/ultra settings. I averaged 120+ frames on consistently (except Elden ring because it has that 60fps cap at the moment) I don’t think I ever got below 120 with the exception of Tarkov. Tarkov took some tweaking and fps differs depending on which map you play. Averaged 70-100. I also tested Warzone, Elden ring, and a couple other games while streaming on twitch. Everything performed flawlessly. As far as gpu temperature the highest I’ve seen was 82 and that was while streaming warzone, running discord, probably playing music too. For reference my build is as follows Intel I9-9900k This 3060ti 32gb ram Asus Z390A motherboard 850w power supply ... show more

  • Wished I had the luxury of waiting a couple of months more when the price came down on this card
The card itself is great for the gaming I do. I don't have any games that require more than 8 GB of VRAM (Rise of the Tomb Raider comes close). Had no issues with the card itself, runs great right outt of the box. I had only wished that I had to luxury of waiting a couple of more months, when the prices of video cards came down, I could have gotten an even better card for the money I spent on this one. No complaints on this card though just the same, it does the job well ... show more
