I should have been more careful purchasing this product given some of the poor reviews for this product. The Motherboard looks gorgeous and the BIOS displays nice color. But that is about it. Both M.2 slots to install the hard drives were not working. The first slot did not recognize the brand new Samsung NVM drive and the second one recognized the drive but the screw did not work to secure it in. We can let it be hanging but the boot drive can fail any time. We spent about four hours assembling the new system with this motherboard and finally gave up. Went with an ASRock which was slightly more expensive. Lessor learned. Pay a little more for a brand name component like ASUS and don't waste your time. ... show more

The motherboard looks georgeous, but its whats inside that matters. The lan port didn’t work and the drivers for ethernet didn’t work either. The motherboard did not acknowledge the gpu or the ssd once, the ssd being brand new and the gpu coming from my current build. The construction quality is also mediocre: the io panel feels like it was glued on by a 4th grader and nothing feels sturdy, its just good looking cheap stuff. If you want to gamble and maybe get a functioning motherboard then by all means go ahead. ... show more

Excellent Motherboard for the 10th generation Intel CPU. It is well thought out with all the features that were needed. Works great. Performance is excellent. Liked all the heatsinking of the peripherals and found that nothing gets warm. I used the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo V2 to cool the CPU. The idle operating temperature is 27 degrees C on the cores (about 71 degrees F). Supports RGB Fusion for those who like to illuminate the inside of the case. Very highly rated. ... show more

Was looking for a basic server motherboard to pair with an i5. Using this board with onboard video it just breaks... constantly. First of all - don't try to use any OS other than Windows 10. Just don't. Even after accepting that and going with Win 10 - It will randomly just freeze up at no load, just freezes. I've swapped system disks, power supply. Memory is on the QVL and have tried with an without the supported XMP profiles. I've run mem checks all the way through with no problems. The board just isn't stable. Tried to RMA - Gigabyte of course can't find any problems because even the problems I have happen once a day and for no reason. I don't think they even tried with onboard video because when they sent the board back I had to reset CMOS just to get it to show me something again, so presumably they had it disabled. May be fine for others. Not working like it should for me. ... show more
