When the dishes arrived, they were well packaged and none of them were broken. Unfortunately some of the dishes had imperfections including a sharp piece attached to the finish of a bowl and slight uneveness. I requested an exchange. The second set also arrived without any shipping damage, this set had fewer imperfections. My husband and I have used these dishes for over two years now. They have been both hand washed and gone into the dishwasher. The plates now have a more pronounced uneven, wavy appearance. The set is still functional, it just has more character. I like the various sizes of the plates and bowls. The set is microwavable and the simple white matches everything nicely. The set has a good weight, not overly heavy or light. Really lovely raised pattern on set. One bowl was broken, but the rest of set was fine. Does not include cups, but white color will make it easy to find those elsewhere.

I purchased two sets of these dishes to have 12 place settings. One of the small bowls has a rough flaw in it. I sent a message to customer support to get a replacement bowl. I am waiting for an answer from the company. Otherwise, I am happy with the set.
