When the dishes arrived, they were well packaged and none of them were broken. Unfortunately some of the dishes had imperfections including a sharp piece attached to the finish of a bowl and slight uneveness. I requested an exchange. The second set also arrived without any shipping damage, this set had fewer imperfections. My husband and I have used these dishes for over two years now. They have been both hand washed and gone into the dishwasher. The plates now have a more pronounced uneven, wavy appearance. The set is still functional, it just has more character. I like the various sizes of the plates and bowls. The set is microwavable and the simple white matches everything nicely. The set has a good weight, not overly heavy or light. They are also sturdy, very few dishes have broke. Overall, it is a good everyday set of dishes. ... show more

Really lovely raised pattern on set. One bowl was broken, but the rest of set was fine. Does not include cups, but white color will make it easy to find those elsewhere.

I had dishes that I had used for 3 decades. I purchased these when we moved to a new house. The entire family loves the new and modern dishes! The sizes are perfect! I ordered 2 sets, so that we would not run out of dishes. I’m glad that I purchased 2 sets because we go through a lot of dishes. 👍

Color, weight and pattern are great and as expected. Did fine in the microwave. Packing was fantastic - not a single chip, crack or break (all pieces are in one box so VERY heavy). All the pieces looked fine out of the box but after I washed them several times in the dishwasher, I noted that several of the dinner and salad plates are warped (bowls are fine). I’m disappointed, and beyond the return window, as I didn’t think this would be an issue with Gibson. I won’t use them with guests but if I needed a set to serve a family with young kids, these are hands down a solid value (let them break the warped plates first?). ... show more
