I waited a long time for a shower curtain that would fit into my bathroom in color, style, and length. I could not be any more happy. It is not a thick polyester but it is still a very nice fabric. I washed it aleady and had no problems there so the construction seems to be good. I thought it a tad pricey for how thin it was; but, it had a good quality picture, washed and dryed really well, and it was longer in length than the standard size. I won't be using this as a stand alone curtain so I won't be able to speak about water resistant, if it is or how long it will last. It's shorter than my previous curtain, and with the light colors, it seems to stand out, and not as thick as I'd like it to be.
