I built this bed by myself and in about 4 - 4.5 hours. So, overall not too bad but there was some awkward balancing acts. Two people are recommended. It’s a one person build, the second person is just needed to help hold stuff while the primary person screws the beams into place. Step 25 is the most challenging step. You’ll see why. The instructions just have pictures and poor depictions of what should be happening. I’d recommend getting everything out and organizing prior to the build, took me less than 30 minutes to do. I’d also recommend reading ahead in the instructions. That way mistakes will be mitigated. I only made a few and they were honestly mostly my own fault, but a few was due to not reading ahead. The bed seems sturdy and safe, but I’m not comfortable with the idea of myself laying down in the bed. I’m a 5’11, 200lbs man and the bed makes some really weird sounds when I even attempt to lay in it. So I’d avoid any adults being in the bed. Only a few items were either mislabeled or not labeled at all, but if you review the pictures in the instructions, you’ll quickly determine what each items is intended for. They give just enough screws and materials. If you you break something, you’ll need to find its replacement. Looks great and my kiddo loves it; it’s dimensions were as illustrated. Do not buy. Not stable for a kid at all. So wobbly and flimsy. I put slight pressure with my knee on it and already broke a board. Peices dont align at all, took 6 hours to put together with horrible instructions. Paint is chipped in so many places. Just looks cheap too. Junk !

Pretty sturdy for a loft bed. I’m not sure I would trust the 350 max weight. Took 8 hours to assemble with 2 people as almost every part was mislabeled. Pieces split do to the holes being bored wrong. Paint was chipped and packaging was stuck to some pieces.

The finished product is fine, but the materials and instructions are terrible. The directions are so unclear and in some places straight up WRONG we ended up having to re-do several steps. Pilot holes in wrong places, screws that immediately stripped the wood, pieces mislabeled and unlabeled, just utterly frustrating. ... show more
