I wanted to have a trellis/arch as an entry way into my patio. I looked at several but kept returning to this one. It was super easy to assemble. I used form pins to anchor all 4 legs in the ground to stabilize it. It is solid! I added 2- 24"stakes off each end at the top to hang baskests away from the sides. I also painted it dark bronze/black to match my dark decor on my patio. It's just so lovely and added that finished touch I needed to complete my little sanctuary!

It is exactly what I expected especially for the price. I knew before purchasing it was not cedar wood but Chinese fir with a stain. It is your typical Ikea type of product we're all the pieces fits together. It took about an hour to assemble. I do not like the metal plates that appear to be add because of a design defect. Again, I knew this in advance. Since I will be staining and sealing the arbor with a darker color I figured the metal plates would not be too noticeable. Then again, the grape plants would cover up everything anyway. The most important part about this Arbor is that it will accommodate a 4-foot pathway. Now that I built the first one and I'm okay with the looks, I just placed an order for two more.

We were very happy with this pergola purchase. My husband and I were building a partial 6 foot privacy fence on our property and wanted the pergola as a focal point for the door. It is perfect! It was easy to put together, good quality, and a perfect height. We did brace it with some 2x4's then braced that to our fence posts, and built a 5 plus foot door to fit inside it. We purchased climbing jasmine vines we will be planting within the next day or so and are looking forward to the look of the vines on the pergola. The stain used on the pergola is a nice cherry, so when I am able to stain the treated wood used for our fence, I will get something close to match. We plan to order a cpl more of these for two other entrances/projects. Great product for a great price.

Exactly as described, good product. No problems with missing parts or hardware. I read the reviews before buying and several people had problems getting it to fit together. Steps one through five, tighten up everything as you go. To make sure everything fits, leave the bolts loose in step 6. Install the arches one side at a time (one step 7 and one step 8 for each side). Once fully assembled, tighten all bolts for steps 6-8. Quick and easy. One more hint. When setting the plates in step 5, make a mark 21.5 inches down from the highest point and use that to set the height of the metal plates. Line up the top of the plate with the mark. This ensures that they are equally placed for all four. Finally, if you do not like the look of the galvanized plates, Rust-ileum painters touch 2X in satin cinnamon is a close color match to the stain used on the wood. I would suggest that you seal the wood if it is going to be outside. I applied two coats of exterior satin poly. I also added metal feet to raise the unit off of the stones to limit ground contact.

Impressive, smells wonderful, and beautiful. You will need a drill but a wrench is optional. It’s soft delicate wood so you don’t need a ton of power, I used 2 on the torque limiter. I did pre-drill a few places where it looked like it needed it. It wasnt difficult to assemble, but it will take you ~30 minutes if you’re by yourself. Mostly this is because you have to flip the thing carefully a couple times and it’s pretty large.

The item is be poor quality. Don’t buy! Holes don’t line up, cracked wood, flimsy we had to use shims to get together. Absolute waste of money. Amazon doesn’t back or support buyer.
