I bought this board for my son's 11th birthday, just 2 weeks ago. The first time he used it, the piece that holds the ankle strap broke off of the board. I was mainly disappointed because a friend of mine has 2 of the same boards, while another friend has one and they have not had this happen. My son is very disappointed as well because he is new to surfing and was really looking forward to using it as much as possible before going back to school in September. We have resorted to tying the strap through the hole (as shown in the pictures) just so he could use it a few more times. We will look into buying him a better board next summer. This one was just a disappointing waste of money.

It’s easy assembly. It came with a leg leash to attach to the board. It’s very lightweight and almost feels like foam on the top and fiberglass (maybe) on the bottom. Great starter board for my teen to practice with. Pretty durable.

The surfboard is beautiful, and my granddaughter fell in love with it when she received it as a birthday present yesterday. She is 11 years old. It was perfect for her. We went to the beach (Ormond Beach in Florida) on her birthday, and she spent hours in the surf there. She was able to master surfing, in fact was able to get up and ride a wave the very first time she tried. Can't imagine a better outcome. We'll see how durable the surfboard is, but if the first afternoon is any indication, it looks like it will be just fine.

Exactly as described and arrived in good shape. Paint is rubbing off while applying wax. This does not affect the function of the board. Our 7 year old is up and riding waves having the time of his life. Not too stiff, could be a priblem for heavier riders 100lbs +. The board is super light weight and easy to carry. If it turns out to be more duable than i thought and we are still riding it at the end of next season i will change the rating to 5 stars. Update: At the end of the first season a couple of big bubbles developed on the standing surface. Still good for the money. Update2: end of season 2 and this thing has almost completely fallen apart. Top cover has debonded completely. Tried gluing it with foamboard adhesive but no luck. We used it almost every weekend for two new england summer seasons. Good value.

Used as decor for fashion showroom, not sure id it is good for surfing but it looked nice and the colors are great. Somehow, one of the boards got lost in the office mailroom and I contacted Carol in customer service who got right back to me, Carol asked me to check around again to see if it got stored someplace else. She was correct. Customer service at this company is prompt and polite. highly recommended

This fun board is super light buoyant and stable in the water even on a light surf day 1-3 footers you can have fun on this thing. The graphics are super cool as well and set you apart from all the other beginners.
