Bought this for myself and my son. For me to sit on and take my shoes on and off, the same for my son and to store his little shoes. He loves having his “own” bench to sit and put his shoes. Easy to put together and fits in our small space right next to the door in our apartment.

The tool that is provided is not sufficient enough to assembe it unless you are really strong. I ended up splitting the wood during my assembly so be very careful. The gray color is nice! It is not very sturdy but if you weight less than 125 it would work.

I bought one of these for our entryway and loved so much we got another for our back porch. It's held up from December - June perfectly in Chicago's winter. We weigh 170lbs and sit on the bench to put our shoes on with no wiggling or swaging or creaking. My husband wears a size US 11 1/2 and the bench fits 3 pairs of his sneakers on each row. Obviously fits more sandals and flats especially if you're a normal shoe size. we put away our wet, salty snow boots on this thing and it looks good as new. I really wasn't expecting it to be so sturdy and i love that it looks more like a bench than a shoe rack so it's not an eye sore in our 1 bed apartment.
