Case gets in the way of using the phone. Finger print scanner halfway worked for 2 weeks, but since there is no seal on the charging port dirt gets inside the case and causes issues using it and as far up as the space bar not working. When closed the case is waterproof but the loss of function is too much for me to recommend to anyone. I would say a silicone phone case and a sandwich bag would vastly superior option to this product. ... show more

I will never own another phone case brand again. I dropped it 25 feet onto a concrete and tile floor screen down. Not a scratch or crack on the phone and the case has barely a mark on it from the fall. I has lasted me more than a year! The only thing that cracked the case (but not the phone at all) was a playful puppy that thought it was a toy. Best case I've ever had. The finger print scanner stopped working after i cleaned the inside of the case. I lost the replacement stickers so that is my fault not the case or the brand's issue. ... show more

Good seals and feels very durable I even like that there's a built in screen protector BUT...There are seals over the microphone ports which nearly nullify your ability to be heard, for a phone that's a problem. Otherwise a great case. You could probably poke a hole in them. I haven't tried yet.

This case is a great fit for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G. Very tight, and so far, has kept all dust and water out. Built-in screen protector doesn't seem to interfere with operation.

    • Best Phone Case Ever Used.

This phone case is the sturdiest I ever tried. The previous best was the Otterbox, but when both I and my wife dropped our phones, Galaxy note 10 plus's, at different times respectively, when they landed on the corners of the case, while indeed the phones were protected from a screen shatter which is their purpose, the perimeter of the case in each phone fractured. The Ghostek Nautical is truly built like a tank, with reinforcement at the corners which will I am sure take a direct impact on concrete. It is so well sealed that no water won't get through, and I do believe its spec of 20 feet immersion at one hour. If anything, its excellent sealing of the phone becomes occasionally annoying when the flap over the microUSB socket is closed tightly - it is sometimes hard to get it open and therefore, I leave it slightly loose unless I will be around water. Get the frosted version on the back, it won't show fingerprints. The finger print area has to be applied carefully, but good instructions are given, and as with all cases, make sure there is no dust or fingerprints already on the inner surface of the transparent screen - that should be cleaned off first making sure you do not touch the finger print adhesive area with the cleaning cloth. We are using the cases on our Galaxy Note 20 5G ultras. That fine camera system on the phone is almost a sure bet to scratch easily because it juts out past the rest of the back surface of the phone - and in fact without a case you should never put the phone down on its back. However, the Ghostek case completely surrounds the camera area perfectly producing perfect protection of the camera system. All the ports on the case fit well and one has no problem accessing any of them, though it is a bit tight for the stylus, but then again, you sure don't have to worry about the stylus ever falling out by accident and being lost with this case. I gave it a 5/5 in every category except a 4/5 in the fingerprint reader only because the fingerprint sensor is slightly less sensitive with the case on then with it off. However, this is a minor problem because the facial recognition algorithm on this phone is so effective and easy to use. Another big plus - if you use a audio microUSB cable to get music out to a pair of headphones, it easily will plug into the charging microUSB slot with no problem from the case.     • Finger Print Magnet that Doesn't Recognize Finger Prints.

I purchased this protector since it was a full case design with padded corners. My issues with it are: 1) Extreme Smudging. The plastic on the clear front screen as well as the black on the back have an extreme ability to collect...and retain oils from your hands and deposit them on the surfaces. Looks like another BP oil spill in my hand. 2) Bulky. I know the Note 20 Ultra is a very large phone, but adding this case makes it huge and uncomfortable to hold. I don't have large hands and the edges of this case dig in a bit and are not comfy at all. Don't expect this case to be ergo. 3) Finger print sensor. Guess Samsung can take some of the blame for this one but the sensor is nearly useless with this case on. The adhesive patch has to be applied in just the right place with no air bubbles or dirt particles under it. I am going to try another case and see if the sensor works any better. Samsung should have stayed with the sensor on the back....much better design. 4) Charging Port. The port plug was tight....very tight. I thought I was going to rip the small tab off the first few times I had to open the port. I guess this may improve over time. 5) Muffles Sound. Sound is definitely compromised with this case and sounds somewhat muffled. Over all....I will keep the case but am going to try another in hopes of finding something better for everyday use. If you are looking for an everyday case, this is not the one. However, if you are looking for a case for a little extra protection such as water protection at the lake or camping, this might be a good choice. ... show more
