  • Much better quality than I expected!
Color: White
Ok, it's more like 4.7 out of 5 stars because I have some issues with the bobbin racks but I'll get to that. We just moved and I finally have a space that is fully my own to do something with - no more dragging my sewing machine to where it was convenient for me to work. So what do I need? I need a sewing cabinet! But we just moved so I really can't break the bank. This one popped up after weeks of keeping my eye on another one that was OoS and the price was too good to believe and I thought I would be sacrificing quality, but I ordered it anyhow. It shipped directly from the seller and since I was so close, it arrived in only two business days (exciting!) It's your basic particle board furniture, nothing fancy. But at the same time, the finish is really nice. Even the bottom edges of the door and sides are finished, nearly everything is really. There was enough foam in the box that all the pieces arrived intact. So as I'm unpacking it all and laying it out I'm thinking "oh great, none of these are labeled. This is going to be fun." WRONG! The ends are labeled with little stickers. So instead of marring up the finish like other manufacturers do with the stickers, the #1-15 stickers are on the edges. Which means for the most part, you can ignore them and put the furniture together. I didn't take off any really except for some on the door shelves. It went together pretty quickly. Manual was really easy to follow and could easily be done by one person (if you have a spare hand to attach the door it would be helpful but not necessary.) Pilot holes all seemed to be aligned straight. It's a little wobblier than I thought it would be, I might see if I can find a piece of white board or something to attach on the back for stability. It's not terrible though. Trying to get the screws in for the casters made a little bit of a mess as the "wood" started to shred (but only in those spots). Hopefully that area doesn't get worn down easily from use and start to crack around the holes. The shelves are generous. I got rid of a bunch of patterns before my move but with a few plastic bins, the inner shelf will be a nice storage area for the ones I kept (and buy in the future). The shelves on the door are great and had room for my oft-used notions and then some. So the bobbin holders. It's great having them on board, really; but they need some tweaking. First, a bit of wood glue in the sockets is going to be needed. As I was moving bobbins around the dowels got stuck in some and came out. Second and this is the biggest complaint - the height of the top row in relation to the front ledge of the cabinet doesn't work because you can't shut the door. 250 yard spools of Coats & Clark thread *just* fit but I had to nudge some under the ledge so the door would shut. I had to move all of my Gutermann thread to the lower row because there was no way they would slip under that ledge. So I may be drilling new holes for the top row and dropping it down. I'm ecstatic with my purchase and would definitely buy again. ... show more

  • Nice sewing/craft table
Color: Light Green
Perfect size for my small apartment. Wasn't too hard to assemble. Instructions were very clear. Bottom of the door was damaged during shipping. Didn't see it until it was assembled. Not noticeable.

  • Cheap..but not too cheap... Temporary fix to a problem
Color: Grey
Not hard to assemble.... But NOT IKEA quality. I recommend using some wood glue for the little dowels. Get it right the first time.... Backing out the screws turns the particle board into sawdust 😐. Works ok for my sewing machine... The bottom shelf in the door fell off... More wood glue and tape.... Fixed. There's only 1 shelf / platform .... So if you have more than 1 machine... It will sit on the floor. It's cute and has temporarily fixed my issue with keeping my sewing machine out so I can actually use it. We shall see how long this lasts. ... show more

  • Usable
Color: Natural/White
Here are the positives with this table: -It shipped quickly. -It looks nice. -The parts were well-labeled, and the directions were really good. I got it together myself in about 1 hour (which is what the directions say it will take). -It was well-packed and even though there was some damage to the box, there was no damage to the table. Here are the negatives: -The castor wheels are not really sufficient for heavy items like a sewing machine. I'm pretty sure I'm going to replace them, because I'm reasonably sure the screws holding the wheels on will pull out over time as I move the table. (The table is made of some sort of middling mdf that easily falls apart when screwed into--I had to be careful putting on the back--and does not seem to be really strong.) -There is no back on the table, which makes it rather wobbly. I added a back. It is better, but still wobbles some. -The top storage rack (on the door) runs into just about anything you put on the inside shelf, which means that you can't put much there and still close the door. -The inside storage shelf can hold a standard sized sewing machine (with the caveat above that you may have to remove the top storage rack on the door). However, the shelf's depth is only 8 3/4 inches, so be aware that a deeper machine probably won't fit there. (Some material or patterns might, though). Overall, I don't hate it. I am going to use it. It just isn't as strong or as versatile as I might have wished. Personally, I would have been willing to pay a bit more for a table that was sturdier and made with better materials. But, it is acceptable and it is great for a small space. ... show more

  • I think it just may work...
Color: Grey
It wasn't too hard to put it together just time consuming. Instructions were clear, but it took about 2-3 hours. Thank you to all the reviewers suggestions. Modifications I made: 1) Installed the top spool rack about an inch lower than the pre-tapped holes, so Gutermann spools will definitely fit. 2) I added wood glue to all of the wood pegs throughout the construction. 3) Used a rubber mallet on a few of tougher spool pegs. It was definitely needed. 3) lowered the top storage compartment just enough, so I wouldn't be blocking the cabinet knob screw, just incase it needs tighting later. 4) Also I added the cabinet knob at the very end, instead of near the beginning, so I could put the door flat on the ground while I install all of the storage on the other side and attached the hinges. The knob would have been really annoying to work around if it had already been installed. 5) I've also ordered the rubber wheels another reviewer suggested because these plastic wheels don't seem to like carpet, and I worry about their breaking. ... show more
