Have had this case on for approximately one month and I just had my first major drop (table height on to tile 😬) and my phone was totally fine. That's the ultimate test right there. I like the looks, I wish I had thought to match my camera protectors to it (they are out there). I like the clear window so you can still see phone color/possibly add your own sticker or cut out for extra flair. I switched to this case because my previous one was too slippery, and I was a little worried about this one on that front but it's mostly great. I'm sure there are even gripper cases (softer edges with texture type) out there, but the texture and different heights on this one are more than sufficient for 'normal' grip. Obviously it is protective enough (see first paragraph) but I'd call it upper average. Only having the raised bevels on the ends is always a trade off. I also expected the grey portions of the case to be softer for more shock absorption (similar to a speck or otterbox case) but I kind of like that they're not. Makes the case easier to put on and that soft stuff tends to be the first part of the case to wear. Also not a dust magnet. I'll admit that I was a little worried about the protection factor when I picked it out, but it seems to have done quite well. Edit: Here I am... gosh I don't even know. Checking back, over a year later and I LOVE THIS CASE. It has held up so beautifully (the metal coloring is just beginning to wear on the corners) and best of all PROTECTED THE HECK out of my phone. I've had more drops. Worse ones. Literally the other night I dropped it from standing height onto concrete and it went beneath my car. I didn't even want to look at it because I just absolutely knew it was cracked. It was too nasty. My husband took pity on me and checked it for me. Phone is flawless, case is pretty darn flawless still too (I am using a screen protector and camera protectors in addition, for obvious reasons, just for the record). The plastic corners get a little scuffed but it's like the scuffy bits come off naturally? Idk, I notice the scuffs kind of disappear, especially visually. And the metal has some small areas of wear (the corners) but no dents or really any marring. The back plastic piece is moderately scratched up but it isn't very visible in use. I have to catch it in the light to see them. And honestly, 100% rather there than on my phone. I have several stickers under the plastic and they are still clear/readable/no yellowing/etc. From the front it looks brand new still. I am extremely impressed with the drop performance. It is fairly equal in protecting my phone to my old favorite Speck case, but honestly this case protects itself/holds up much better. It's a beast. Do it, you won't regret it. ... show more

Review is for the Ghostek Atomic Slim S26 Ultra MagSafe Case, Magnetic Clear Iridescent Metal Phone Cover Compatible with 2026 Samsung Galaxy S26Ultra (6.9") (Prismatic). I was skeptical spending this much on a phone case but I'm so glad I did! This is a sturdy, quality made case that does wonders protecting your phone. The prismatic aluminum shell is beautiful to look at and recieve compliments on it all the time. This case fits extremely snug which makes it a pain to take off but does an excellent job keeping dust and debris from getting inside the phone case (Iwork in a dirty foundry so this is a massive bonus). There are shock absorption rails on the inside of the walls of the case and this phone can easily handle bad drops onto hard surfaces, also, the outer portion of the back of the case is raised above the clear plastic back by about 1mm which protects the plastic from scratches when sliding or setting the phone downon hard surfaces. I've seen reviews of people complaining about not enough rubbery grip on the sides of the case but I personally have no issues holding it. The side buttons are also quite easy to use, the magnet is strong and doesn't interfere with my S pen, and the S pen is still quite easy to remove from the phone. Scroll down for the Pros/Cons, but do read the review please! =) I decided to switch things up this time around and get the Ghostek Atomic Slim case for my new S23 Ultra. For my previous phones like the iPhone 6+, Galaxy S8+ and s20+, I was using the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro. They were good cases all around, however, the Ghostek Atomic Slim is more beautiful, rugged, and has a premium feel with the aluminum frame, unique camera cutout, and the see through window on the back which shows off the natural beauty of the phone! With most rugged cases you're limited to the entire phone being covered and sometimes you just want to look at and show off the bare phone. The cases that offer that though tend to be very thin and offer much less or almosy zero protection. This Atomic Slim case offers both the ruggedness AND the ability to see the phone through the window and camera cutout on the back! I also really love the Prismatic color so much but contemplated getting the red/black color a while before purchasing the Prismatic color. I've already gotten compliments and questions from others in the 5 days of using this and they all said how really liked it as well! Another thing I really like about this case is the front protection. I tend to leave my phone face down on the desk sometimes, and the front top and bottom of the case have a slight bump that prevent the screen from resting directly on the table. No need to worry about damaging or cracking your screen when face down! The case is also very ridged and it takes some decent pressure to take the phone in and out. That's a good thing because I don't have to worry about my phone falling out of the case if I had a bad drop! It also has a good elevation around the camera so you won't have to worry about the lenses being damaged from drops or resting it on the back. Also no wobbling when laying the phone down on either front or back! The window on the back is amazing because like I said before, it shows off whatever color phone you choose! I might even get a nice decal to put on the back of my phone so I can see it through the window! You can really make this case your own!! The window is also recessed and the clear window sits right up against the phone. I do have large hands and I love the feeling of the recess when I hold the phone. My fingers rest up on the edge of the window and it feels secure in my hand! The ONLY downside to me if the sides of the case are a bit less grippy than I'm used to, but do realize my only frame of reference is from using the Supcase UB Pro cases for years. The grippiness isn't bad by any means, just a tad more slick on the aluminum parts, mainly when using it one handed. That said, I'm not worried about dropping this phone but I wanted to mention this. I haven't had much variety in my cases so I do have a limited view. The S-Pen cutout is nice and makes it easy to get the pen when you need it! Plenty of room around the charge port, I couldn't see this getting in the way of even the largest Type-C connectors! The power/volume buttons feel nice and have a nice click when using them! The side buttons is one of the negatives I've read in other reviews, mainly people saying they're stiff and hard to press. Not at all in my opinion! I was expecting the side buttons to suck before I even got the phone. I was pleasantly surprised after using it! Lastly, I couldn't find really any reviews saying if this case was compatible with the Whitestone Dome Glass screen protector (which I heard so many great things about), but it works flawlessly with this case! I also have the ESR camera lens protectors installed (in the silver color) and they also work flawlessly with this case (and look amazing!) PROS: - Snug/tight fitting - Premium feel with the aluminum - Raised edges on the front top and bottom and around the cameras - No wobbling on tables when resting it on either side - Recessed window on back to show off the beauty of the phone (and helps with grip as mentioned in above review) - S-Pen is easy to access with the cutout - Type-C cutout is large so you can easily fit the largest of Type-C connectors - Good padding inside the case for extra protection and peace of mind - Beatiful color (pics don't do it justice!) CONS: - SLIGHTLY less grippy on the sides, however as stated above, I've only used the Supcase UB Pro cases over the last 9 or so years. My sample size is extremely limited haha I'll leave a reminder for myself to come back in a few months with an update! ... show more

I ordered the prism case for the S22+ and I love the colors. Feels very sturdy and durable. Snug to get on and off but I feel that's part of it actually being protective. I like that the back is clear so if you have a colored phone you can still see it with the case on. I've gotten a lot of compliments so far! Edit on 4-18-22: After a few weeks of use I've noticed that the case really diminishes the vibration of the phone's alerts. I have the vibration intensity as high as it will go and have selected longer vibration patterns but I don't feel or hear the vibration even with the phone sitting on a table right in front of me. I keep my phone on the vibrate setting as I'm not allowed to have the tones on while at work. This being my only complaint, I've changed my review to 4 stars. It is definitely protective and durable which outweighs my potentially delayed response to missed notifications. ... show more

I got this case because I needed a new one to protect my phone. I drop it quite a bit and my other case finally wore out. I picked this one because it's got the nice raised edges to protect it and I thought to color transition was cool. I have to say this coloring is gorgeous. I was really hung on the price it is way more than I normally spend for a case but I just hadn't found one that I loved. I'm glad I splurged on this one, it is even more pretty in person. The color is totally me. Only thing I wish was this had a magnet for wireless charging or so I could use magsafe accessories. That would have made me hit the buy button so much faster. Since it didn't I had to purchase a HaloLock Ring to go with it. It fits perfect on the case. With the nice smooth back it attached great. Now my case is perfect. Feels secure and looks great but also has the option to add other magsafe accessories my charger, popsocket, and car mount. ... show more

I got this and a nautical 4 case for my s23 Ultra. I like the nautical but it is bulky for day to day use (when I don't need the waterproof case). I chose this as my day to day case over an otterbox commuter due to the design allowing me to use my wireless charger which is what I prefer when I'm at my desk. Used a ESR halolock ring to make it magsafe too! Great case, awesome colors on the prismatic one, and love the aluminum. Would recommend to anyone looking for something with more protection than your standard TPU cases. ... show more

I loved this case. I wanted to love it for a long time. It looks amazing. But it did not last. The hinge protection broke off first, which I was prepared for... but then part of the case decided it just didn't want to stay on anymore. I used this case for only a few months, which for the price doesn't make sense. I have had cheaper cases last much longer.
