I was hoping for something a little more stiff. My daughter is in an art focused high school, so I wanted her to have a way to move her projects around with less fear of damage. This portfolio is good for keeping dirt and rain out, but is kind of floppy and won't protect from bending. I gave 4 stars because it is spacious and roomy for people who are moving around canvas or posterboard, so for those needs, I think it would be fine.

My mom recently moved and we helped her clean out. One of the treasure troves that we found in the moving process was a large stash of art that my siblings and I made throughout school. I took that pile home, where it sat in a messy pile for about a year. I finally started looking for a better art storage solution and came across this portfolio. It is large enough to hold all of those childhood art projects. It keeps everything together. It is easy to sift through the contents to find a specific piece of art. It keeps everything dust-free. It feels reasonably sturdy but not archival. However, it works perfectly for my purpose and offers a good amount of storage for the price.

The GFANSY Art Portfolio Tote Bag 24 x 36 version is gigantic. I haven’t had a chance to use it for transport of large items, but I’m happy to have it when the time comes. Right now I’m using it for storing large prints. I like that it comes with a rubber handle and extended shoulder strap. The extra storage sections are handy for small prints or other art supplies.
