I tested these today. Did they protect my arms? Yes. Today was the day to clear out nettles and salmon berries (they have thorns, much like blackberries). Usually, I end up with scratches or nettle stings of some sort. Not today. I got the extra large. I'm not bustling with muscles or anything but they just (barely) fit. It didn't help I had already been working so my arms were a bit sweaty. It took some work to get them on, and to avoid pinching arm hairs to advance the sleeve up my arm. But they stayed on and were comfortable the whole time. It was a warm day today and they were not uncomfortable to wear. So: they are good by me. And this seems like a good price for two sets. I love these sleeves. They appear to be heavy enough and comfortable enough to wear while I work on my truck. They protected my forearm tattoos in some pretty tight places. Last thing you want to do is do damage to your arm art. They are stretchy for my large forearms and appear to be made of quality materials. Quality is great, good for sun protection and heat resistant. Weight is light and comfort is great. I reccomend getting Xtra large. They dont go passed the elbow though but I reccomend this product as they didn't itch and they keep your arms cool.

My husband has fragile skin subject to bruising and skin tears, especially when moving to and from his wheelchair. These sleeves are thick enough to offer good protection from scrapes and bruises while still being easy to put on and take off. They offer warmth in the winter and can be worn under long sleeve garments. They aren't constricting, are made of good quality material and machine washable. Upper end opening too small thus tight on my forearm. Plus it rolls into a round end making it pinch my forearm. It does not stay in place. Inspite of the tight upper end it slides down. Perhaps mold an elbow bend like a sock will help.

It appears to be well made but I have slim arms so I ordered the medium size. It wouldn't fit a child, it was that small. They need to get real on their sizing. I reordered the large and all is well. They work and work very well. I was cutting wood with a chainsaw and no bruising.
