I wanted to upgrade from my cheap off brand espresso machine, after some researching I settled on Gevi. I don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on my coffee and this set was in my budget. I'm impressed! The espresso machine is solid, it's not plastic, the portafilter has a good weight to it and isn't cheap like my old one. I bought some accessories for it like a leveler, a tamper mat, and bottomless portafilter. Using it as is right out of the box with the pressurized baskets I'm able to pull beautiful shots with nice crema. If you wanted to you are able to change the factory settings for how much water you want to go through your shot. It's ready to go almost immediately after pressing the on button. I can make back to back drinks. The steam wand is pretty powerful and after some practice I've made some nice creamy steamed milk. It comes with the basic accessories to get going. The grinder works great! It didn't take long to find the right espresso grind for the machine. It's easy to clean and I like the portafilter holder accessory. I'm able to grind a fair amount to have on hand or grind each shot right into the portafilter. Overall I'm really pleased with my choice. I did purchase the warranty though just incase I need it. I'm definitely a Gevi fan now.

Love the espresso machine itself, but the bean grinder sucks. It literally shuts off mid-grind. I have to unplug and replug to get it to turn back on and even then while it’s grinding sometimes nothing comes out. Takes me 10min to get enough bean grinds to make a double shot. Super frustrating

This is our 3rd espresso machine in 6 years, different brands/makes and wow! This will be my last one. Perfect tasting espresso, perfect grind, and so simple to use. My ONLY complaint would be that nowhere in the manual or online does it suggest how long to set the grind time for a single/double espresso. You just gotta figure that out on your own. Hint: 13 seconds for the perfect double. All that said, this kit is a great deal even at full price when you compare the quality against higher priced machines. Would buy again.

I want to love this machine but there are some serious issues. First, the grinder is junk. It gets clogged up and if you think you can put the portafilter in it’s cute little holder and let the fine grinds fall into place think again, it makes a huge mess and such a waste of grinds everywhere. The espresso machine is ok but it does leave wet soggy grounds. I give it 1.5 stars but it’s 1 or 2 so 2 it is. Espresso is ok.

What a joke Gevi is. We received this espresso machine heavily soiled, used, broken and missing all accessories. We had high hopes but looks like Gevi customer service is also as bad as their quality control. We have emailed few times with pics and haven't even bothered to respond to us. I would NOT RECOMMEND Gevi, buy a brand you can trust and count on when you need them. Clearly they don't!

What a great espresso machine. Honestly couldn’t be happier, I’m so glad I chose this one. So far I’ve had it for a week and I love my americanos I make. Cappuccinos are great too. There are so many cool little things you can do with this espresso machine. On demand hot water is pretty nice for several things not just for coffee! All the items and tools they give you to upkeep and maintain are great. Grinder is the BEST! Fresh ground shots are the best way to start your morning. I am very happy with my forever machine.
