  • Brew Pro
The grounds bin the unit comes with has terrible static and the grounds get everywhere when using it. But when dispensing directly into the filter and filter holder of my Moccamaster (not using the grounds bin) it works great and no mess. I’ve been using a Silenzio for espresso for years and decided to try the Brew Pro for drip. With the Silenzio, I use a Decent funnel and grind directly into the portafilter which works great. Now that I tried grinding directly into the filter with the Brew Pro, it is just as easy as the Silenzio. With the Brew Pro I also like the fact that I can use the 2 presets to set one for a single cup and the other for a full pot. The touchscreen can be a little finicky, but once you get everything set the way you want it, you leave it and never mess with it again unless you change beans. Great unit, and just as quiet as the Silenzio. ... show more

  • Worst purchase in 10 years
This is your desired product if you want a grinder that stops grinding every 8-10 oz of beans! The product support could be more useful. It's a total waste of $750. And if anyone is wondering, the clean procedures do not work.

  • Great grinder!!
This is a great grinder! After about a month of use I found my setting for the different coffee's I like, ( dark roast, light roast). The grind is very consistent which was my reason for making this purchase. I had an old MDF espresso grinder that was at least 12 years old with original burr's. It was time for an upgrade and I am no longer drinking espresso and that is why I bought the Brew Pro. I watched many video's and read multiple articles about this grinder and found good recommendations all around. First, this grinder is quiet! I like my coffee on the strong side, 32 grams of coffee to 500ml water. This grinder gets the job done in 12.5 seconds. I set up one of the two available timers to 12.5 seconds and the grinder consistently grinds all coffee and then stops. I am getting more consistent cups of coffee using this grinder and has made a big difference for me. I do not have as many fines in the grind which is consistent also. I love this grinder and it was money well spent. I think it will last me for many years to come. ... show more

  • Terrific grinder
The Eureka Mignon Brew Pro is a spectacular grinder for pour-over coffee. It's better than my Baratza Encore, which was a good grinder for the money. It's solid, attractive, and does a great job grinding at any setting. My coffee never tasted so good! The only negative is that to some degree the grinds stick to the ground coffee basket, making the device slightly messy as grounds spill a bit onto the counter. It's a minor issue, however. ... show more

  • Built Like a Tank and Perfectly Uniform Grind
My review is for the Filtro and Brew Pro models. I started out with the Filtro. It's been over two years of use and totally problem free. I clean it at the beginning of each month with Grindz and some coffee beans, then vacuum out and run the beans hopper and lid through the dishwasher (once each month). I like the smokey gray hopper as opposed to the clear one because it doesn't show built up coffee oils on the inside through the plastic. I don't get the reviews here that say the machine stops grinding beans. The only time that's ever happened I accidentally moved the tab to close the bean hopper chute. Open it again and the beans run through again, no issue. The only reason I'm replacing the Filtro is because I wanted the Brew Pro in the first place, but it's really unnecessary. The only reason I bought the Brew Pro in March 2024 was because I came into a little "mad money" and splurged on what I wanted, and because I was very happy with the look, performance, and build quality of the Filtro. With the Filtro you do have to hold in the button on the side to keep the machine running but that never bothered me. The grinds are always uniform and excellent for use in my Moccamaster and Fellow pour over coffee equipment (Stagg kettle [Studio Edition] and Tally Pro Studio scale). Some people say the plastic bean hopper looks cheap. I never thought that, but I got the smoked gray version instead, and even though I only run 69 grams of beans at most at a time through the hopper [for my Moccamaster], I like the silhouette of the smoked gray hopper on my black machines. What do they want instead? Easily breakable glass? As of 2024, Eureka makes an optional metal cover for the beans hopper (it's pricey, and so far [as of March 2024] I've only seen it for sale on European sites). As for the ground beans receptacle, I have never used that. Just looking at it I could tell it would be a pain to clean with it's hard corners. Instead I use a small bowl or the filter holder for my Moccamaster and grind directly into them. This works great, and I never have to clean that part (each time), just run my bowl or filter holder through the dishwasher. (A tip from Moccamaster is to pre-wet the filter in the filter holder. This makes it sit at the sides and will prevent ground coffee from getting between the paper and filter holder, and keep them out of your pot of coffee. Works great. While I really like the look of these grinders, Eureka is coming out with a new grinder that grinds by weight called the Eureka Mignon Libra Brew. (Not to be confused with the Libra meant for espresso.) Presumably that will be even better because you will be able to simply tell the grinder the weight you want to grind (in Moccamaster's case that's 69 grams for 1.25 liters of water). This should save having to do this weighing in advance on a scale, but it's also more that can go wrong with the grinder over time, so I probably won't upgrade to that model (at least for a couple years in case they need to work out the bugs), but it's an option (when it makes it for sale in the USA) for those interested. For those saying there are no instructions, there are ALL KINDS of videos on YouTube, including from Eureka themselves. Just put in Eureka Mignon and whichever model you have and see what comes up. Like my first BMW, I was so happy with the first one and its reliability and performance, I only looked at BMWs when it was time to replace it. It's the same with with Eureka grinders. I know what I'm getting and it's rock solid (and stylish), so I'm not looking at others. ... show more
