This Dutch oven pan is a nice weight, cooks well and is easy to clean, but the metal finish on the bottom of the pan is poorly constructed. The metal is rough and unfinished around the circular edges of the pan, especially in the center where a hole in the metal bottom exists thus scratching my glass top stove every time used. My glass top stove now has numerous scratches due to the use of this pot. For this reason, I do not recommend this pan for use with glass top stoves. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised when I received it and used it for the first time. It did well on top of the stove to sauté vegetables and braise the meat.
