Admittedly, I did not expect this toy to be so much fun. I don't really think RC cars are fun because of how basic they are, but this one is a blast. The kids, teens, and adults liked it, and seeing it running around the house was almost as much fun as actually driving it. If you are interested in this product, I do recommend you try it out.

This RC car is speedy! Boys are crazy with this car. It not just moves forward and backward, but also running side way and spinning. It has tons of power and can ramp up and down easily. It can be controlled with a remote controller or you can use the wrist band with sensor to control with the gesture. The gesture control is fun but it can be a bit too sensitive and you get kid might be frustrated with it. Nonetheless, it is fun enough with remote controller. Note that, you can not pair both remote controller and the wrist band to the car at the same time. You have to pair them one at a time.

My ten-year-old loves RC cars and said that it's fun to use considering all the different ways that it can move. We're all glad you can turn off the talking and annoying music and would prefer no sound effects or at least the option to turn them down or off. Can be grating on everyone's nerves after awhile. The gesture control took some time to learn, but is cool once you've mastered it. Both the gesture control and regular remote lose connection with the car itself frequently (at least with our car). Charging is easy, but the lack of any manual is frustrating. For example, how to use the gesture control and how long it takes to charge would be helpful. For these reasons and compared to other RC cars we've ordered via Amazon, we can't give it higher than a 3 star review. 3.5 might be fair as well.

The media could not be loaded. This car is really fun, and surprisingly well built to withstand normal child abuse. The video shows how it goes up and back, and I think how it can stand taller hugging into the wheels. I had a second video showing it scroll side to side forwards and back and spins all around also but for some reason my emails won't let me attach it for sending. It's really cool all the moves this car can make. The sound is like engine's revving also. A few things: It comes with a rechargeable battery you have to place inside the car. This means you need a small phillips head screwdriver for one screw, then open the bottom casing. It also comes with a charging cord BUT, when it's time to charge, you have to unscrew and open the bottom up again to plug the battery end into the non USB end of the charger. During this process, screws may get lost while waiting for it to charge. I do think this battery will last quite awhile. Also you have the same process with putting two AA batteries inside the remote. The screws are tiny, and for the first time in my life, when I was finished unscrewing it, the screw fell backwards inside the unit. My husband had to unscrew the whole remote control backing to get the fallen screw and put it back together. The remote I will say is not heavy duty, very light all plastic pieces. I good whack against a hard object may damage it. The instruction page that comes with it does not mention ANYTHING regarding the wrist, hand device that also comes in the box. Maybe remote control playing pro's know about this but in my day (yes I am an older adult) there were no such things. My husband actually went on line to see pictures of other remote cars to see how these hand devices were meant to be held and used, and then it seemed to make perfect sense. You turn on this unit after attaching it correctly to your fingers, then turn on the car button and you can maneuver the car with the flick of your wrist and hands/fingers. Pretty nice, but still, instructions would have been helpful for first timers. The box does indicate this is for 8 years and up, but the adult can use it for letting smaller and younger children watch and enjoy all it can do. We only used it on our hard floors. I do not know how it will do on carpet, although it does have large, rubber all around tires, or how it will do outside on grass. On concrete or asphalt I am sure it will perform as it did on our hard floor unless it hits a rock? It will get caught spinning it's wheels if stuck in a position it can't get out of so you'll have to pick it up and move it in that case. Overall, a very fun and cool remote control car! I would only suggest that the materials used to make the remote not be such cheap plastic, use materials like the car is made out of for long lasting. Most of the time if the remote breaks, you throw out the entire toy. I did not see a contact number/email address on the box, or the paper inside for help or replacement parts.

I enjoy playing with this RC car just as much as the grandkids. The controller is easy to use. It can move sideways, forward, turn in either direction. And best of all, change shape. When running over the foam building blocks it needs to be in the high clearance shape and it runs right over the blocks. In the low-to-the-ground mode, it is all about speed and slide winding. Great light show and effects. This is a fun toy for sure.

I bought this car for my 8year old daughter. She's been begging me for a cool remote control car and this one looked perfect. Straight out of the box the batteries for hand sensor were dead, and after changing them we realized the battery in the actual car (that recharges) is faulty. It won't change, stay charged at all, not even for a few mins.

The media could not be loaded. This car is a lot of fun, but I have to admit this old lady had a hard time operating it! This is no reflection on the car itself, just me who never was very good at this sort of thing anyway. But I did manage to get the hand control and the remote control to work well emnough to terrorized Billy, my doodle. This car is really cool to look at, I love the colors. It's very fast and responds very quickly. And the car is very sturdy, it will take a lot of abuse. You'll have a lot of fun with this car. But why oh why can't they include sufficient instructions? This car came with one tiny little page, barely readable, no instructions on how to switch between the remote and the handheld remote. Completely worthless. If you're gifting this be sure to advise the recipient to go online and watch videos that explain how to operate this car.
