My 6 year old grandson loves dinosaurs. As soon as he opened this and it was ready to go that is all he wanted to play with. Thank goodness the batteries were charged a bit. He absolutely loves it. He will actually play with something besides his dinosaurs now. It is good quality and very entertaining for kids, Dads and Papas. It's pretty much ready to go when you open it just add batteries to the hand remote everything else is USB chargeable. It's perfect size to take along or play on the trampoline with lol. This is a fun little car. The hand remote takes some getting used to, 12-year-olds could use it better than 6-year-olds. It does come with a controller that is small and works great. I would repurchase it.

A couple weeks before our oldest grandson's 6th birthday, we asked him what he might like to have as a present from us. His first choice was a remote control car. Coincidentally, I happened to see the QXHOL Store's "Gesture Sensing RC Stunt Car - Boys Toys Age 6-8-12, 4WD Hand-Controlled, Remote-Control Twist Car with Light & Music" on Amazon at around the same time. Based mostly on information shown on the product page, I ordered it. At first I was concerned that it might be too advanced for him, since the product page identifies it as a "perfect gift" for kids between the ages of 6 and 12. Anyway, I'm really glad we chose to give him this particular remote control car. He's had experience playing with remote control cars and trucks, including those that perform stunts, so we were fairly confident he would have a good time with the QXOL stunt car. With help from his dad, along with some practice, he was able to (almost) master it. Not so much for his 3-year-old brother, but he enjoyed watching the stunts and participated by changing the terrain in the back yard for more challenging car runs. Grandma and grandpa are glad we gave this to our grandson -- because he and his younger brother love playing with it.

$44 is all the $$ in the world for the usual toy this size, until you add the 20% off coupon, which brings it into the just right price of under $35 before taxes. And it's not the usual back and forth RC car, either. New gesture type remote option adds hi tech chops to the usual console control format. But the real star here are the tires. These type stunt cars have diagonal oval shaped rollers on the surface of the treads that rotate fore an aft at high speed to create insane motion and activity. Make sure there's lots of room to run, as you'll need the space to learn what this can do. And it should amaze you. Drifts, crab walks, 360 spins, off road/ multi-surface capable- and all accompanied by a variety of lights and music. Twin motor drive on each axle means each wheel is powered individually. Body articulates up and down to clear obstacles. This is no market-hyped poser. It's the real stunt crazy deal. Recommended.

This RC is a step above most - it has lights, music and it goes anywhere! It's fast, and so much fun to operate or just watch. The gesture sensing feature is pretty new, and takes some practice. This makes an incredible birthday gift for almost any kid!
