Overall very pleased with this purchase. My boyfriend and I open a new sock door every night and he loves the designs. About half are holiday designs while the other designs you can wear easily any time of the year. The only down side is the back of the package spoils all the designs. If you'd like the recipient to be surprised each day, you will need to cover the back of the box with paper or something that keeps the contents a surprise each day. Ordered these for my 92 year old grandfather; the socks themselves are ok, but it's evident the item was gifted and returned at some point. It's completely destroyed. The socks are well-made. Good value for the money. The packaging is nice but each pane design matches the actual sock. Once you open two panes, you can guess what the sock is going to look like. So, no anticipation.
