This is such a beautiful spoon/spatula rest. The color matches the kitchen beautifully. It has a sturdy ceramic weight without feeling flimsy and holds up well with warm, soapy water to clean it. I wish that the same pattern came in a green tone, but I love it nonetheless.

I have a think for krakens and this spoon rest is delicate and classy way to add one to my kitchen. The spoon rest area is big enough for any utensil with room to spare, but isn't an eyesore. The potterer has stamped the back. It's a piece I really love. Beautiful craftsmanship.
