Beautiful. These aren't plastic or metal and shouldn't be treated as such. I had a different version and it lasted for years. I wonder if hard countertops aren't responsible for some of the breakage. And of course the dishwasher. "Dishwasher safe" and "just throw it in the dishwasher " aren't the same thing :) As for cracks, well, if I look hard enough I can see some on the back but they are under the glaze. If they break in those spots then I will contact BCS. Also the packaging is great - rarely seen on Amazon anymore!
