I got this for my 8 year old son since we recently moved him into our newest completed bedroom. I got this as a temporary fix until we build him in an actual closet but this will work great for now and afterwards it will go in the garage for storage. I can hang atleast 17 kids size shirts (he’s an 8/10) in each hanging section. I got about 12 hoodies in one. It seems very sturdy. The cubbies will fit a canvas box to put inside, which I will do for his socks and undies. And also have room under his shirts to store other items. Instructions were easy to follow, best to watch the instructional video. I put it together myself in about an hour. Just be sure to use the mallet between each section to fill in the gaps and add the zip ties to all joints after. It came very well packaged with the parts, stickers, plastic mallet and a pair of working gloves. DO build it near where you want it to go. It’s easy to move but I was afraid everything was going to pop out bc I hadn't ziptied them yet before moving. It does have a slightly strange smell, but I’m sure that’s due to the plastic and being new which will fade over the next few days. ... show more

It is actually better than I expected. Not super fancy or sturdy but perfect for my jeans and sweatshirts. The exterior structure is pretty flimsy but I like the lightness and color and it has wire mesh separators for each cube which give it more strength. It also came with zip ties to reinforce each connection. Took about a half hour to put together. It comes with simple snap together instructions but there’s also a QR code to scan which opens up an easy to follow along video. I was using this as a closet for my son's clothes. I thought it was a good buy as there were reviews from people who loved this and recommended it. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone who has anything they value. My son's bed is about three feet away from this unit and luckily he was not in bed when it started collapsing. This was really difficult to put together and the entire thing relies on little plastic pieces and zip ties to hold the panels together. Immediately after putting some articles of children's clothing in it, the plastic pieces began to pop off 1 by 1 and the panels are bending. The description says no more than 10 lbs per cube and there's probably only 7 lbs total before it started to warp. Do not purchase this. I could have spent less and had a better quality wardrobe for my son. Which is what I plan to do. ... show more

Man I love these so much that I have bought two of them already and I think I will buy another one soon for my daughter. The first one I bought was for my books. It holds up so well and so much more than just my books. The second one I bought I had originally bought it bc we didn't have a pantry so I put all of our pantry food on it and that worked out well but we have since moved to another place that has plenty of storage for food so now I use it for my youngest two's clothes and it's actually pretty awesome. I knew for the price of this portable cube wardrobe that I wasn’t getting the best product on the market but I was surprised with just how flimsy it was. We recently built a bedroom in our finished basement for my teenage son and he needed some closet space. I wanted something modern and something that fit his style while also keeping in mind he’ll be headed to college in a couple years and could take this with him. (Not even sure it will still be standing by this summer so not going to hold my breath about him taking it to college) My first indication that this was kind of a garbage product was the fact that the directions weren’t really detailed. I read them several times looking for a larger picture of how to connect the shelves into the connectors with no luck. After trying several different methods I ended up figuring it out. The second red flag was the fact that the connectors really weren’t even connecting in some areas (see pictures) you can see large gaps between the wire shelves and the connectors. At this point I’m more confident in the zip ties holding it together than the connectors. Also, the shelves were definitely not all the same size. Some were noticeably larger and even had a slight bend to them making it hard to line up with the other shelf layers…. I had to switch them out for a different shelf that fit better. Another thing that sent me was the fact we ordered a black shelving unit and instead of getting black zipties , or black hanging rods, they sent white. It would’ve been nice to have everything be more cohesive and not such a huge contrast. Would I buy it again? No. Will it serve its purpose? Hopefully. I was going to give 1 star but since it didn’t fall apart as we moved it into the space I added an extra one. Spend a little more money for something else. ... show more
