Description

The CPS Duet Size Leather Adjustable Artist Concert Piano Bench is 34.5" long and 16" deep. It weighs about 48 pounds. Its height can be adjusted from 18 1/2" to 21". The concert piano bench is made of solid hard wood with heavy duty mechanism (silent micro adjustment). The cushioned top is covered with 100% premium genuine leather. The leather we use on our bench is the top quality leather you can find. It's thick and soft. Each one is hand picked by our designers to ensure the quality of the leather you expect. The seat has a deep diamond tufted seat with 19 buttons for extra comfort. There is a storage compartment under the seat. It also has solid skirt that covers the lifting mechanism. When the bench is adjusted to its maximum height, you do not see any gap or the lifting mechanisms. Quick and easy assembly, you just attach the legs with the wrench provided. Available in ebony (black) with satin finish. This product carries a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

    • Sturdy and roomy quality bench!
I purchased this for my husband because our old bench broke and I knew he needed an adjustable bench. The height is great for him. (He is 6'8" tall.) It helps him to be higher so his back doesn't hurt while playing. He likes the firmness of the seat cushion for support and it seems sturdy with plenty of room for the grandchildren to sit beside him while he plays. He says it feels very sturdy and well made. I only gave it a 4 star because we've just had it two weeks so I don't know how well it will hold up. For now, I am happy I spent the extra money to get a longer bench even though there were reviews for a one-person bench that talked about how well it held up. ... show more

    • Comfy and handy
We ordered this mostly because it was long enough for the two of us and sit and play duets. In addition, its quite comfortable and, of course, the bench comes up to store piano stuff. There was a little trick for assembly. But once I got that (fairly quickly) it went together quite easily.

This is a high quality product. The seat is firm, but comfortable. The inside compartment is a bit shallow, but surprisingly adequate--no complaints! Both, my wife and I can actually sit on it together. We are very satisfied! We'd buy another one, but we have only one piano! I thought of actually get another to put at the end of our bed. This is a very well made, sturdy and good looking duet bench. It easily holds the weight of my wife and myself. We bought this to use along with our new Kawai CA95 Rosewood digital piano which is also terrific. Inside there is plenty of room for numerous books. Even though the space is shallow the recess in the lid makes for more room. The leather seat is laid out well and buttoned down over the seat. The seat is not as chushy as the picture makes it look, it feels firm and flat to sit on it but it is still comfortable. As advertised -- well-made and agree with the review by SanMar. Plenty of space for sheet music on the inside and easily adjustable with turn knobs on either side. Seat is fine, comfortable for me; beats a naked wood top! I like that the seat lid stays open when lifted all the way. The bench is attractive and sturdy, but the top is too hard and not comfortable for any lenght of time. I have never had this type of bench, so maybe that is how it is supposed to feel. I have gone back to using my portable piano bench which is more comfortable. Will use this one on the rare occasions we play duets. ... show more
