A very nice comfortable bench. The main body is made with metal instead of wood. This makes the bench very sturdy because the seat is bolted to the frame. What I did not like is the compartment under the seat. Way too small to place music books. This bench may also be small if you have a keyboard with 88 keys.

I find the bench comfortable but since I bought it for the storage as well and it is too small to hold even a regular 8.5x11 piece of paper, I have to return it.

The supports on on this bench are on the inside of the storage area, so sheet music or books do not fit. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Great for basic chair

Sturdy bench easy to assemble, but we purchased this for our son to use at his piano and ideally to hold his standard music books and the 8½x11 sheet music he prints out. It literally cannot hold a sheet of paper flat in the storage space. Only his 8½x5½" practice book from his music school to track his practicing details fits in there! This was a major disappointment to us. We have limited storage and now have to come up with another solution for his sheet music. Edit: after my son has used this bench for a couple of months for sitting on while practicing piano, one or 2 hours a day (not even every day) we discovered the legs are bending in because there is zero support to keep the legs apart. My son is 11 and weighs 70lbs. This should not happen. I now have to figure out how to keep the legs from collapsing under him. He is the only one who uses this bench. I wouldn't have purchased this had I known this would be an issue, so I changed my rating from a 3 star to a 2 star.

Very easy to assemble. Very solid and sturdy. I needed a small bench in my mud room and this works great and doesn’t take up too much room.
