  • Didn't Burn up on Install like the one from autoparts store
This fuel relay worked on install (may 2022). If it fails in the next two years I'll update this review. After years of random engine stalls and waiting 15 - 20 minutes for the car to start again I replaced the fuel relay under the dash as that has resolved the problem. I previously tried a replacement relay from the local autoparts store and it immediately smoked, stunk, and locked in the on position (fuel pump would not shut off and engine would not stop running). ... show more

  • Fixed Hot Stalling Problem
I used this PGM-FI (RZ-0159) to replace the 20 year old relay (RZ-0132) on my Honda Civic. The car was mysteriously stalling intermittently when the car got hot, and I found internet suggestions for literally dozens of different fixes. Fortunately I tried this one early on (after a replaced fuel filter). A simple, easy to access installation (below and aside of the steering wheel) and I was back in business! I feel particularly good that this part was an original Honda part and not a knock-off, as intermittent problems are hard to diagnose and then confirm as fixed. Definitely a 5 star part! ... show more

  • Helped fix 1998 Honda Accord engine stalling problem
If you have a 1998 - 2002 Honda Accord that has a problem with the engine stalling/dying on you when you are driving, I recommend doing two things: (1) change you main relay (for fuel injectors/fuel pump). That is this part that I am reviewing here. (2) Also, change out the ignition wiring because over time that gets old and wears out. Here is the link for this part: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002E53RN6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Changing out both parts is pretty straight forward and you can do it yourself. See Youtube for some good videos. It took a long time for me to figure out what was causing my car engine to stall (or not start on hot days), but I think I finally resolved the problem by changing both parts out. I have not had an engine stall since replacing both parts. If you think you know which part is failing, you can choose to just change out one part; but if you're not sure which component is failing, I recommend changing both. If you haven't changed out either, it's probably about time to replace both anyway. I hope this helps someone. This is advice I sure would have loved to have read a long time ago. ... show more

  • New fuse
I had a problem with the old relay. I started the car and it would die on me, but I finally got a new fuse and even with the ac on she still starts strong. Great fuse OEM quality. If you do get a check engine light get the code cleared or checked at least. 2001 Honda Accord Ex

  • Ptriced right, but pain in the neck to get to.
Be prepared. Be patient. If I can do it you can do it. I moved seat back. Rolled down window. Got on my back and had my legs sticking out of the window. Got my head and shoulders under dash and got relay assembly out. Take your time. You can do it without removing any other stuff. I'm an old guy and did it. Saved who knows how much $$$...solved the occasional no start issue once and for all. Make sure you have a light source. ... show more
