I don’t know why I did t make the change sooner! As a vanlifer, all three of my(& my partner’s) meals are prepared on our camper stove. Before, we would burn through at least one of the green tubes a week ($+waste) Now, we’ll honestly, we’ve had our first for months, and the gage still shows half full (glow in the dark is super helpful once the sun goes down and it’s time to bleed the line) I highly, highly recommend buying this converter and making the switch from 1lb to 15/20lb whatever suites you! ... show more

This adapter/hose works fine with my Weber Q1000. My propane source is a 30 lb tank and the hose length is just right. If you want to use your Q1000/1200 with a camping trailer, I recommend a longer hose model so you can position the grill away from the propane tanks.
