I originally purchased these for some pepper plants that I was wanting to plant indoor. Upon several failed attempts of trying paper towel methods, and shot glass methods, I decided to give these a try. Every seed that I have put inside of the rapid rooters has germinated in roughly 24 hours. Super simple to use, just follow the instructions. Will definitely be buying more for all of my other plants.

These are amazing! I just add root hormone. Photo of how it started vs. how it’s going! They’ve been in the ground about 2 months now and still thriving. It only took them about a week and a half to start growing roots.

The plugs are great for both soil and hydroponic growing systems, and I found it easy to insert cuttings or seeds into the plugs. For decades before finding these plugs, I used the standard rockwool cubes. These plugs beat rockwool in my setups. No need to soak or prepare the medium, just insert a clone and come back in a week. Tip: you can freeze these. If you’re not going to be using all of them at once put the bag in the freezer. They won’t dry out and won’t get crushed. That then out when needed. Another tip: don’t over saturate them by adding a bunch more water. Just keep them moist and spongy. No need to drench the plugs and risk rot. They work best when moist and sponge like.
